Entertainment: --- O.K. at best for the main shows. Good lounge band and misc entertainment
Shore Excursions: --- Did the Thriller boat ride to Blackbeard’s Cay in Nassau. Boat ride was fun, island merely O.K. Probably cab it to Cable beach next time and use the $240 excursion cost (4 people) to rent jet skis, etc. Beach near Westin in Lucaya was very nice. Cabs clean and accessible.
Onboard Activities: --- Adequate or better. Attitude of staff (great) made the difference
Children’s Program: --- N/A
Overall impression of the Ship: --- Great value, terrific attitude, very good food and service. Small ship without the fancy common areas, but really nice, well maintained and clean
Any comments that you may have that would benefit future cruisers who are contemplating sailing on this ship? --- Learn more about the difference between the 2 main dining areas. Horizon was great, but we wondered about the other one….looked nice from the entrance. Eat early or late breakfast/lunch or the lines and table availability in the buffet area could be a problem. Don’t let the appearance of the port at Freeport fool you….go to Lucaya’s beaches by taxi. We were very pleased with Smartcruiser and have already begun to look at our next cruise options.
