If you want to talk about a "big premiere", then talk about Royal Caribbean's newest behemoth of a ship, Liberty of the Seas. Making its debut on the open seas in late Spring 2007, all 154,000 tons of Liberty of the Seas is the second in the line's series of biggest-in-the-world cruise ships. How big is biggest-in-the-world? Room for 3,600 passengers, an onboard surfing pool and water park should be evidence enough. With this much space, Royal Caribbean offers us a whole lot to love.

MAIDEN VOYAGE: MAY 2007 || EMERALD PRINCESS
Princess Cruise's new 116,000-ton, 3,100-passenger Emerald Princess joins the high seas this spring during a maiden voyage through the Mediterranean, and comes home for an American debut in Fort Lauderdale next October, before its fall trip to the Southern Caribbean. At a quarter of the size of its sister "big ship" Royal Princess, Emerald Princess offers many hallmark features of the Royal Princess experience, but on a more intimate level — a stunning piazza-style atrium on deck, dramatic "Movies Under the Stars" poolside film screenings, multiple dining and entertainment options, and a Lotus Spa fitness center.
