| CABIN CATEGORY: |
Balcony; the room that was booked for us had a door that adjoined to the adjacent room. We were traveling with other family, but they did not get balcony-grade rooms. So, we had strangers next to us. Since we had our infant with us, the only place in the room that the crib fit was right in front of the door to the room next door. The doors seemed considerably thinner than the walls, so i was concerned about our neighbors hearing our son if he cried (which he did quite a bit...) and also that the noise they made would wake our son up. I would have definitely preferred a room that did not have a door that adjoined to the next cabin.

| FOOD & SERVICE: |
We never ate in the dining room, but instead in some of the more casual dining areas. The food was quite good. I liked that there seemed to be healthy selections, in addition to not-so-healthy stuff. The desserts were excellent!!! and the service staff in the places we ate were excellent.
|
| ENTERTAINMENT: |
I only went to one bingo, but had to leave b/c my son started to get fussy and cry. However, had it started on time, I may have been able to stay for at least part of it. It started about 20 minutes after it was supposed to, so, that was frustrating.
|
| SHORE EXCURSIONS: |
We did not participate in any of the organized shore excursions.
|
| ONBOARD ACTIVITIES: |
Didn't really participate in any onboard activities.
|
| CHILDRENS PROGRAM: |
We participated several mornings in the 'aqua babies' program. Our home is in the eastern time zone, so the program started a little early for us. Our son slept a little too late in the mornings to get him changed, fed and out the door by the time the program started. Another thing i was irritated about, was that i do not remember coming across anything on the Royal Caribbean website that kids who are not potty trained cannot use the kids' pools. So, I had spent money on a swimsuit that protects against the sun, and swim diapers, only to find out once i was onboard that we could not even use the pools. As a suggestion for Royal Caribbean, it would be really nice to have a designated place that my son could have crawled around in. He started crawling the week before we left for the cruise, and there was no place for him to crawl around that was designated just for kids. The area around the pools was a rough non-skid surface that would have been too rough for him to crawl on. There were some rooms on the top several floors of the ship that were designated "quiet areas," but they were carpeted. One of these rooms was actually the room that the 'aqua babies' class was held in in the mornings. It would have been nice had they kept that room for kids at least through 6 or 8 at night.

| OVERALL IMPRESSION: |
The ship seemed nice. I didn't explore it extensively, but it seemed like there was something for everyone.

| COMMENTS: |
If you have older children, maybe 3 or 4 years or older, it seems like a great ship. Lots to do. Fun pools for the kids. The pools were part shaded, so you didn't have to worry about your child's skin burning up in the hot caribbean sun. |

Fantastic. I will seek out this ship for future cruises.

| COMMENTS: |
The cruise line did a great job of preventing virus from coming aboard. They should do the hand sanitizer all the time, not just when a scare. Point to improve upon, Keep the sanitizing wipes for the gym equipment out all thetime. AND place signs telling people to wipe the equipment when done. Too many people are not gym users, so they don't know the etiquette of wiping gym equipment after dripping their sweat all over it. |
