OPEN/CLOSE REVIEW |

Client Review || Rhapsody Of The Seas posted 2007-02-15 |
| AGE: |
57 |
| TRAVELER TYPE: |
Family |
| # OF PRIOR CRUISES: |
9 |
| CABIN CATEGORY: |
Oceanview. We've been spoiled with balconies, but the oceanview was fine for the Caribbean.
|
| FOOD & SERVICE: |
Food was great and the service was wonderful - especially in the dining rooms. Seems to be fewer cabin attendants than we've previously seen on this cruise, but our room was kept neat.
|
| ENTERTAINMENT: |
Fair. The neon show was great, but the rest were pretty boring.
|
| SHORE EXCURSIONS: |
XCaret at the Cozumel stop is the best shore excursion we've done on any ship on any cruise. Best excursion for the money. The guide was outstanding and the park is a fabulous way to spend the whole day enjoying many different activities: lazy river, Native dances, animals, snorkeling, etc. There are things for everyone in the family to do - from small children to older people. Not many people knew about the excursion which is a surprise because it is the best! (The ferry ride over is bumpy and many people got seasick, but if you go prepared for it, it's not too bad - sleep is the best thing to do)
|
| ONBOARD ACTIVITIES: |
Our sons enjoyed participating in the many different activities on deck and then around the ship in the evenings. There were plenty of things to do every day.
|
| OVERALL IMPRESSION: |
The ship is getting older, but it's going to be refurbished and then moved to China. We've really enjoyed all of our visits on Rhapsody.
|
| COMMENTS: |
If they haven't cruised before, let them know about the "Compass" schedule left in your stateroom each night. There are so many papers that show up, that unless you know about them, they can get lost. Our sons hadn't cruised before and we surprised them by knowing how many different activities were available. The second day they had the schedule memorized and attended many activities. Our sons are saying that this vacation was the best week of their lives. |
