Inside, way down on deck 3. It was small and the thermostat didn't work, but it was OK.

No complaints here. The food and service were excellent.

Top marks for talent, and there were as many as three different shows a night, all good. Most cruise ships don't have that much entertainment. Good band up on deck and in the theatre.

Deck seven was nice for exercise, but the gym was somewhat crowded. I never used the pools but the hot tubs were nice. We shared a table with different people each evening and made a lot of friends. That is a plus for freestyle cruising.

| OVERALL IMPRESSION: |
If you accept the fact that the ship was old and not a big as some other ships, it was OK. I wish they would wash the windows. Salt spary frosted them over and limited visibility. Most cruise ships wash windows in every port. The weather was perfect, so that is no excuse. The captain had some tough decisions to make when a passenger had an heart attack. He and his crew handled the situation well.

Freestyle cruising works for me. The ship has a great crew. Smaller ships don't have to tender in as often as the mega ships. I never set foot of a tender this trip. As usual, I was not ready to get off the ship at the end of the cruise. |
