Pros & Cons

The Pros

perfect for spending time with the family

The Cons

I can't complain
The Review
If you are looking to go on a family vacation then I can totally vouch for Carnival Conquest as being quite the best option. I must agree that the cheap fares are what enticed me to go on the cruise with my family knowing that no ship could possibly be perfect enough to have something for every member of the family but I was wrong. My two teenage kids had their teenage disco to enjoy every night we were on the ship while my wife and I had the romantic Point Steakhouse for elegant dinners. For my youngest who is 12 she also had an area of the ship dedicated only for kids aged 12-14.

Pros & Cons

The Pros

perfect for spending time with the family

The Cons

the food could be better
The Review
Going on a Carnival Conquest Cruise was truly glamorous for me and my family. We had been on other cruise ships before and usually either the kids get the perfect cruise while my wife and I get left out or vice versa. This is not the case with the Carnival Conquest. My 12 year old daughter had her very own section on the ship dedicated to kids under 14 where she got to make new friends while we sat in the pool enjoying drinks watching the 270-square-ft LED. In the night my teenage son and daughter could go get party till dawn in the teenage disco while my wife and I unwind over a romantic dinner at Point Steakhouse.

          CARNIVAL CONQUEST

Pros & Cons

The Pros

ideal for a family vacation.

The Cons

food was ok but could be better
The Review
The best thing that I can applause about the Carnival Conquest is the fact that it truly is ideal for a family vacation. There are a lot of ships out there that toot their horn about being great fun for the whole family but some family members always end up getting the short end of the stick. The cabins were pretty great with enough room to fit a family of five. For my teenagers they were always excited as during the day they had enough activities and in the evening they could hit the teens disco. I spent most of my time gobbling down steaks at Point Steakhouse with my wife if we were not sunbathing.

Pros & Cons

The Pros

the ship is huge

The Cons

seasick
The Review
One of the best things that I appreciated about the Carnival Conquest is the fact that it was very huge. Of course there are bigger ships out there but this was just perfect for our family cruise. Space is very important when it comes to choosing a cruise ship because it means you have many more varieties of what to do while on the cruise. You will have so many areas with activities for your kids and plenty of dining options as well. You will see that there are plenty of balconies and you also do not have to be stuck in long lines getting from point a to b.
