I did the Fjords & Waterfall cruise last July and it was simply awesome. It's definitely the most beautiful ship afloat, wonderful interiors, artwork and exactly what comes to mind when thinking about classy cruise, formal, great staff, excellent food (even in the Main Dining room) and their specialty restaurant is simply divine!
Additional Information
Ship Quality:
New York Art Deco style, simply superb furniture, art work.
Dining and Food:
Make sure to book one night at the Verandah, the specialty restaurant on board QE. Also very good dining alternatives on Lido deck where at night they turn some parts in a cosy and quite intimate dining places. Different themes, did the Asian one and it

Pros & Cons

The Pros

glamour and elegance

The Cons

I can't say I did not like something
The Review
I loved cruising on the Queen Elizabeth because it is exactly the kind of glamour and elegance that a majority of us picture when we envision being on a cruise ship. Its décor is breathtaking with a lot of rich artwork. The ceilings are high with plenty of glittering chandeliers that sets the mood of royalty. There is a lot of expensive marble and polished wood on the ship that makes it look pretty high class. A lot of the activities on the ship were formal so the whole entire cruise fit together by letting activities go in theme with the ships elegance.

Pros & Cons

The Pros

good service

The Cons

none
The Review
One of the best things I appreciated about the Queen Elizabeth is that it is truly a classy ship. I loved it even more when I found out that just because it looks so luxurious does not mean that you are confined to the expensive luxury cruise lifestyle. The Queen Elizabeth offers you the opportunity to choose a cabin grade. This therefore puts you in a certain class which will ultimately decide the kind of food, accommodation and service that you will receive on your cruise. I decided to stay in the Britannia grade cabins which I cannot say was superb but I cannot deny that it was pretty good for the fare paid.
