The Review
Ship is nice and clean. Lots of things to do. Food at Cabanas, the buffet breakfest/lunch buffet, was average. Dinner is a step up in quality, but not as good as the Wonder. Cabins are nice but furniture is to large and takes up space. (I had a CAT 5A-deck 9) Ship's crew is up early and can be noisey in the AM. Embarkation is painful and needs improvement. AquaDuck is fun, lines can be long, do this while at a port of call, everyone is gone. The prices for beer and wine are high, but you can take your own spirits in a carry on bag. With all the kids, there needs to be Purel type sanitation stations. (Crew hand you a wet-one just before entering dinning.) The "Pirate Party" show is just plain bad. It is way too strange and not Disney at all. Not like what is on the Wonder as of Jan. 2009. Family voted, wife and son age 12 and myself, after 3 Disney cruises. We are done. Too exspensive for the 4 nights and the over all cruise was just average.

One of the best things that I had to love about the Disney Dream cruise was that it made sure that even the adults were not left out of the fun experience of a cruise vacation. I was under the impression that only my two young kids would have the time of their lives while my husband and I tried to endure the cruise but I was wrong. The kids had plenty of fun activities with the one they loved the most being the Aquaduck. It allowed them to watercoast into a Donald Duck pool. There were adults only spaces that made sure my husband and I were completely entertained throughout the cruise as well.

Every time I think of a family vacation I always end up yearning for a Disney Dream Cruise. I never thought that it would have turned out to be that great and addictive either considering that their main target is fun for the kids. This took me completely by surprise as they made sure that we, the adults, had plenty to do throughout the cruise too. We had the fitness center, the spa and an adults-only pool which was connected to a bar! There are also adults only dining options that we had to take advantage of every other night.
