Will I be bored with that many sea days?
Crossings are the most relaxing cruises there are: lectures, classes, trivia, spa days and a time change of one hour most nights. Guests who try one usually book another. If six sea days scares you, take a southern route with Bermuda, the Azores and Madeira broken up.
Is the Atlantic rough?
Spring and fall crossings follow the southern route and are usually calm. The northern Queen Mary 2 route can see swells, but she was built for it. Pack motion tablets and book midship if you worry.
How do I handle the one-way flight?
Book an open-jaw ticket (into one city, home from another) or let us pair the crossing with a Europe cruise or a few nights in the arrival city. One-way international fares are often cheaper than you think in April and November.
