SmartCruiser.com is the consumer cruise division of Oasis Travel Network, founded in Boca Raton, Florida by Lee Smolinski in 1987 and selling cruises online since 1999. Oasis is No. 54 on Travel Weekly’s 2026 Power List of the largest travel agencies, with $300 million in travel sales in 2025, all of it leisure, and more than 1,000 travel advisors in its network. That volume is what gets SmartCruiser clients the space, the rates and the onboard credit you cannot get booking direct.
Our story
Lee Smolinski, CTC, opened Palm Coast Travel in Boca Raton in 1987 as a one-office cruise and leisure agency. By the late 1990s it was one of the top-producing cruise agencies in South Florida, and in 1999 he launched SmartCruiser.com to sell those same cruises online, with the slogan that is still on our logo: Stop surfing. Go cruising.
In 2009 the company founded Oasis Travel Network, a host agency that gives independent travel advisors across the country the same supplier contracts, booking technology and commission levels the Boca Raton office had built for itself. Oasis now works with more than 1,000 advisors, is a member of Signature Travel Network, and passed $300 million in annual travel sales for the first time in 2025, which placed it at No. 54 on Travel Weekly’s 2026 Power List.

- Every price is all-in. The fare you see on SmartCruiser.com includes cruise fare, taxes, fees and port expenses, so it is the number you pay for the cruise. Flights, hotels, gratuities and packages are quoted separately.
- Every line, side by side. We are not owned by a cruise line and we do not push one. Our experts price Royal Caribbean against Celebrity, Princess against Holland America, Viking against AmaWaterways for the same week and tell you which one wins for you.
- SmartCruiser picks, re-checked weekly. Our pricing desk compares every sailing in our systems against the public fare each week and flags the ones where booking with us beats booking direct: instant savings, bonus onboard credit, a Special SmartCruiser rate, or a senior, resident or police & fire fare. Those picks lead every destination and cruise line page.
- Price watching until final payment. When a line drops the fare or adds a promotion on your sailing, we reprice the booking where the line allows it, and we remind you before your final payment date.
The people
SmartCruiser is run from the Oasis Travel Network headquarters at 5030 Champion Blvd, Boca Raton, Florida, by a team of 26 full-time staff and the cruise experts who answer 1-800-444-1560. The company has had one owner since 1987.
