Seven nights of glaciers, then a train to Denali.
A cruisetour is one booking that does both Alaskas: a 7-night Glacier Route cruise between Vancouver and Seward or Whittier, then 3 to 8 nights inland by glass-domed rail and motorcoach to Denali, Fairbanks, the Kenai Peninsula or the Yukon. Princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Norwegian all sell them. SmartCruiser shows every package priced as one trip with the land portion, taxes and fees included, and puts the packages with SmartCruiser bonus credit at the top.

Stack any filters, then pick a sortPrices are per person, double occupancy, in US dollars, and include cruise fare, taxes, fees and port expenses as published by the cruise line at the moment you load this page. Fares are capacity controlled and change daily; the fare is confirmed when you book. Flights, hotels and transfers are extra unless the line’s offer says otherwise. SmartCruiser instant savings and bonus onboard credit are provided by SmartCruiser on top of the cruise line’s price and are not available when booking direct; amounts are per stateroom, vary by stateroom category and are shown for the lowest category offered. Special SmartCruiser rates are pricing SmartCruiser holds on that sailing for its clients, with extra onboard credit; you book your own stateroom and travel on your own. Senior fares apply to guests 55 and over; resident fares need proof of residency in a listed state or province at check-in; police and fire fares apply to active or retired police, fire and EMT personnel with ID. Qualifier-fare savings are measured against the best fare the cruise line offers the general public for the same stateroom category on the day the list was pulled, updated weekly.

Which line for an Alaska cruisetour?
The land tour is where the lines differ most: who owns the lodges, who rides the rail, and how many nights you get in Denali.
When to go
Cruisetours run mid-May to mid-September; Denali’s park road and lodges set the calendar.
Alaska cruisetour questions we answer every day
What exactly is included in a cruisetour price?
The cruise, the rail and motorcoach travel, the lodge or hotel nights on land, the Tundra Wilderness Tour or Natural History Tour at Denali on most packages, and transfers between them. Taxes, fees and port expenses are included in every price on this page. Flights, most meals on land, and optional excursions are extra.
Northbound or southbound?
Northbound ends in Denali, so the biggest scenery comes last and you fly home from Anchorage or Fairbanks. Southbound puts the busy land days first and lets you rest on the ship. Prices are usually the same; pick the direction that fits your flights.
How many nights in Denali do I need?
Two nights gives you one full day for the park tour. Three nights adds a free day for flightseeing, rafting or the sled-dog kennels. Packages with one Denali night exist but feel rushed.
Do I need a passport?
Yes. Cruisetours start or end in Vancouver, Canada, and the one-way sailings stop in Canadian waters, so every guest needs a valid passport book. A passport card or birth certificate is not enough for a one-way Alaska cruise.
Are taxes and fees included in the prices here?
Yes. Every price on this page includes the cruise fare, the land tour, taxes, fees and port expenses. Flights, gratuities, meals on the land portion and optional tours are extra.
What do the SmartCruiser picks mean?
They are packages where booking through SmartCruiser gets you something you do not get booking direct: instant savings, bonus onboard credit, a Special SmartCruiser rate we hold on that sailing, or a senior, resident or police & fire fare that beats the best public price.
