Greek Isles the Greek way: Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes in a week.
Celestyal is the Greek line: Athens-based, Greek-crewed, and the only one doing the Aegean in 3, 4 and 7 nights from Piraeus, March through November. Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery carry about 1,260 guests each, small enough to tie up in Mykonos town and Rhodes old harbor instead of tendering from miles out, and the itineraries pack in Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Crete, Milos and Kusadasi with long days ashore. In winter the ships move to Dubai and the Arabian Gulf. It suits first-timers to Greece, travelers pairing a few nights in Athens with the islands, and anyone who wants a short cruise that is all islands and no sea days. SmartCruiser shows every Celestyal sailing with taxes and fees included, SmartCruiser picks first, and SmartCruiser bonus onboard credit per stateroom on sailings where Celestyal allows it.

Celestyal Cruises questions we answer every day
What is included in a Celestyal fare?
Your stateroom, all meals, entertainment and the Greek nights are in the base fare. Celestyal packages its drinks and shore excursion bundles as fare tiers, so the choice is between a basic fare and one with the bar and a few excursions already in; we lay both out side by side so you can see which is the better buy for how you travel.
What are the ships like?
Mid-size and refurbished rather than new: about 1,260 guests, no water slides, no climbing walls, and a Greek crew who treat the Aegean as home. The crowd is international, with Americans, Brits, Australians and Europeans, and the advantage of the size is docking in town at Mykonos and Rhodes and spending the evening ashore.
Is there a dress code?
No formal nights. Smart casual at dinner is the norm, and the Greek Night is the one evening everyone shows up for, with live bouzouki and dancing.
Should I add nights in Athens?
Yes, at least two before the cruise. The ship leaves Piraeus in the afternoon, the pier is 30 to 40 minutes from the Plaka, and flying in the same day from the US is asking for trouble. We package the hotel and transfers with the cruise.
Do I need a passport, and what about Turkey?
Yes, valid for at least six months past your return. For the day in Kusadasi, cruise passengers who return to the ship the same day are allowed ashore without a Turkish visa under the ship’s arrangements; we confirm the current rule for your sailing before you go.
Are taxes and fees included in the prices here?
Yes. Every price on this page includes cruise fare, taxes, fees and port expenses. Flights, hotel nights in Athens and any package upgrades are extra, and we quote the total before you book.
