Best for: Texas guests who want a short Cozumel cruise or a 10-day Panama Canal voyage from Galveston, and cruise collectors chasing the 2027 solar eclipse or a Mediterranean fall on a mid-sized ship with mostly balcony rooms. Carnival Miracle is the youngest of the four Spirit Class ships, delivered by Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki in 2004. She is 88,500 gross tons and 963 feet long with 12 decks, 2,134 guests and 934 crew, and like her sisters she gives most staterooms an ocean view and most of those a balcony. A spring 2025 dry dock at Navantia in Cádiz added the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a RedFrog Rum Bar, a dedicated Chef’s Table room and a new Carnival Adventures excursion store.
Her interiors are themed around fantasy and fiction: the Bacchus dining room, Horatio’s on the Lido deck, Nick & Nora’s Steakhouse, Sam’s Piano Bar, the Phantom Lounge theater and the Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab dance club. Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Pizza Pirate and Swirls are included, Bonsai Sushi Express and the steakhouse are extra, and WaterWorks, Serenity and Family Feud Live cover the sea days.
Carnival Miracle spent summer 2026 in Alaska from Seattle and left on September 26, 2026 on a 16-day Panama Canal cruise to Galveston, where she sails four- and five-day Cozumel and Progreso cruises through the winter, then four-day Cozumel and 10-day Eastern, Western and Panama Canal cruises from March 29, 2027. On May 6, 2027 she crosses to Lisbon for a Dover and Civitavecchia season that includes an 11-night solar eclipse cruise on July 29, 2027, and from November 2027 she joins Carnival Pride in Baltimore.

Carnival Miracle questions we answer every day
How big is Carnival Miracle?
Carnival Miracle is 88,500 gross tons and 963 feet long with 12 decks. Carnival lists her at 2,134 guests with 934 crew. She is a Spirit Class ship, built in Helsinki and in service since February 2004, sized to transit the Panama Canal, which is why she can serve Alaska, Texas, Europe and Baltimore in consecutive seasons.
Where does Carnival Miracle sail in 2026 and 2027?
After Alaska from Seattle in summer 2026 she repositioned through the Panama Canal to Galveston in October 2026 for four- and five-day Cozumel and Progreso cruises. From March 29, 2027 she adds 10-day Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises, crosses to Lisbon on May 6, 2027, sails Europe from Dover and Civitavecchia through October, and arrives in Baltimore on November 20, 2027.
What is the 2027 eclipse cruise?
An 11-night Carnival Journeys sailing departs Dover on July 29, 2027 and is positioned to view the total solar eclipse at sea on August 2, 2027. It is one of a series of 8- to 12-night European cruises Carnival Miracle sails from Dover and then Civitavecchia in summer and fall 2027, with the Rome departures visiting the Greek Isles, Turkey, Italy, Croatia and Montenegro.
Which staterooms are the best choice on Carnival Miracle?
A Balcony room is the natural choice on this ship because most outside rooms have one, and on a Panama Canal or Mediterranean cruise the balcony earns its keep. Extended and Aft-View Extended Balcony rooms add outdoor space, and the Vista Suites with wraparound balconies are the top pick for scenery.
What is included in the fare on Carnival Miracle?
The Bacchus dining room, the Lido buffet, Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Pizza Pirate, Swirls, Seaday Brunch, Playlist Productions, Family Feud Live, the Punchliner Comedy Club, WaterWorks, the pools and Camp Ocean are included. Nick & Nora’s Steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi Express, the Chef’s Table, bar drinks, Wi-Fi, the casino and spa treatments are extra.
What was added in the 2025 refurbishment?
Carnival Miracle completed a dry dock at Navantia in Cádiz and returned to service from Lisbon on May 11, 2025. The work added the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a RedFrog Rum Bar, a dedicated Chef’s Table venue on Deck 1 and a Carnival Adventures store for shore excursions, along with structural and technical work ahead of her European and Alaska seasons.
