Active or retired police, fire or EMT? Some sailings price you lower.
Royal Caribbean publishes police and fire fares on selected sailings for active and retired law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs, and they are often the lowest fare on the ship that week. SmartCruiser checks every sailing against the public price, lists the ones where the police and fire fare wins at the top of this page, and shows every other cruise below it, all priced with taxes, fees and port expenses included. One qualifying guest with ID covers the stateroom.

Police and fire cruise fare questions we answer every day
Who qualifies for a police and fire cruise fare?
Active and retired law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMTs. On Royal Caribbean one qualifying guest in the stateroom covers everyone in it, and you show your department or retirement ID at check-in. The fare applies on the sailings and stateroom categories the line selects each week, which is what this page tracks.
Is the police and fire fare always the cheapest?
No. On many sailings the public promotion beats it, so SmartCruiser measures the police and fire fare against the best public fare for the same stateroom category every week and lists only the sailings where it wins. The amount it wins by is on each card.
What about military fares?
Carnival, Norwegian, MSC and others publish military fares for active and retired service members and veterans, verified through the lines’ ID programs. Tell us you qualify and we check the military fare against every other offer on the sailing; the SmartCruiser bonus onboard credit applies on top where the line allows it.
Can I combine the fare with other offers?
It replaces the public fare rather than stacking with it, but it combines with SmartCruiser’s bonus onboard credit where the line allows it, with Crown & Anchor perks and with prepaid packages. If you also qualify for a senior or resident fare we check which one is lower.
Are taxes and fees included in the prices here?
Yes. Every price on this page includes cruise fare, taxes, fees and port expenses. Flights, hotels, gratuities, drinks packages and excursions are extra.
What do the SmartCruiser picks mean?
They are sailings where booking through SmartCruiser gets you something you do not get booking direct: a police & fire, senior or resident fare that beats the best public price, instant savings, bonus onboard credit, or a Special SmartCruiser rate we hold on that sailing.
