Fifty-five and over? Some sailings price you lower, and we find them.
Royal Caribbean and Celebrity publish senior fares on selected sailings for guests 55 and over, and they are often the lowest fare on the ship that week. SmartCruiser checks every sailing against the public price, lists the ones where the senior fare wins at the top of this page, and shows every other cruise below it, all priced with taxes, fees and port expenses included. One guest in the stateroom needs to be 55 or older on the day you sail; the rest of the party sails at the same fare.

Stack any filters, then pick a sortPrices are per person, double occupancy, in US dollars, and include cruise fare, taxes, fees and port expenses as published by the cruise line at the moment you load this page. Fares are capacity controlled and change daily; the fare is confirmed when you book. Flights, hotels and transfers are extra unless the line’s offer says otherwise. SmartCruiser instant savings and bonus onboard credit are provided by SmartCruiser on top of the cruise line’s price and are not available when booking direct; amounts are per stateroom, vary by stateroom category and are shown for the lowest category offered. Special SmartCruiser rates are pricing SmartCruiser holds on that sailing for its clients, with extra onboard credit; you book your own stateroom and travel on your own. Senior fares apply to guests 55 and over; resident fares need proof of residency in a listed state or province at check-in; police and fire fares apply to active or retired police, fire and EMT personnel with ID. Qualifier-fare savings are measured against the best fare the cruise line offers the general public for the same stateroom category on the day the list was pulled, updated weekly.

Senior cruise fare questions we answer every day
Who qualifies for a senior cruise fare?
On Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, at least one guest in the stateroom must be 55 or older on the day of sailing; everyone else in that stateroom sails at the same fare. The line checks the date of birth on the reservation, so there is no card to show, and the fare is available on the sailings and stateroom categories the line selects each week.
Is the senior fare always the cheapest?
No, which is why this page exists. On many sailings the public promotion beats the senior fare. SmartCruiser measures the senior fare against the best public fare for the same stateroom category every week and lists only the sailings where the senior fare wins. The amount it wins by is on each card.
Can I combine a senior fare with other offers?
The senior fare replaces the public fare; it does not stack with it. It does combine with SmartCruiser’s bonus onboard credit where the line allows it, with loyalty benefits such as Crown & Anchor and Captain’s Club perks, and with prepaid packages. We check the combination before you book.
Which other lines are good for travelers over 55?
Holland America, Princess, Viking and Oceania do not publish senior fares but suit the age group best: calmer ships, longer itineraries, included excursions on Viking and adults-only sailings on Viking and Oceania. All of their sailings are in the list on this page with live prices.
Are taxes and fees included in the prices here?
Yes. Every price on this page includes cruise fare, taxes, fees and port expenses. Flights, hotels, gratuities, drinks packages and excursions are extra.
What do the SmartCruiser picks mean?
They are sailings where booking through SmartCruiser gets you something you do not get booking direct: a senior, resident or police & fire fare that beats the best public price, instant savings, bonus onboard credit, or a Special SmartCruiser rate we hold on that sailing.
