Carnival Valor is a 110,000-gross-ton Conquest Class ship that entered service in December 2004. She is 952 feet long with 13 decks, 2,980 guests and 1,180 crew. In May and June 2025 she had a major dry dock at Navantia in Cádiz, Spain, that added a WaterWorks aqua park, the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a rebranded Cloud 9 Spa, an expanded casino, a Dream Studio photo space, stateroom USB outlets and lighting and a fleet-first LED wall in Camp Ocean.
The ship runs on Carnival’s familiar formula. Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Mongolian Wok and Lido Marketplace are included, with Scarlett’s Steakhouse, Seafood Shack and the Chef’s Table for a night out. The RedFrog Pub, Alchemy Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar keep the bar scene going, Playlist Productions and the Punchliner Comedy Club fill the evenings, and Serenity, Dive-In Movies and the new slides handle the sea days.
Through spring 2027 Carnival Valor sails four- and five-day Western Caribbean cruises year-round from New Orleans to Cozumel and Progreso, plus a 14-day Carnival Journeys cruise on November 29, 2026 to Cozumel, Montego Bay, Curaçao, Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama. On May 15, 2027 she moves to Mobile, Alabama, as the first Conquest Class ship based there, sailing six- to eight-day Bahamas cruises to Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, with two more 14-day Journeys in September 2027 and January 2028.
