About Seven Seas Voyager

Seven Seas Voyager entered service in 2003 as an all-suite, all-balcony ship and remains one of the most intimate ways to sail with Regent. At 42,363 gross tons and 670 feet, she carries just 700 guests in 350 suites across nine decks, with 455 crew. A spring 2026 dry dock in Marseille updated every suite with new furnishings, lighting and decor, redesigned the marble bathrooms in the top suite categories, laid new carpet throughout and gave the Pool Grill a wood-fired pizzeria.

Regent’s all-inclusive fare covers unlimited shore excursions, all seven dining venues including the Prime 7 steakhouse and French Chartreuse, unlimited drinks with fine wines and premium spirits, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry, with a pre-cruise hotel night for Concierge Suites and above. Evenings move between the two-deck Constellation Theater, the Voyager Lounge dance floor, the Horizon Lounge and the Observation Lounge, and the smaller size means the ship docks in ports larger ships miss.

Her 2026-2027 itinerary is one of the widest-ranging in the fleet. After a fall 2026 Mediterranean season from Venice, Athens and Istanbul she sails Athens to Dubai in December, spends the winter around the Indian Ocean and Southern Africa from Dubai, Mauritius and Cape Town, returns through Arabia to Rome in March 2027, then works north through Barcelona, Lisbon and Southampton to a summer of the British Isles, Norway and the Baltic from Edinburgh, Stockholm and Copenhagen. She suits travelers who want a small, quiet luxury ship on long, port-rich routes.

Seven Seas Voyager questions we answer every day

How big is Seven Seas Voyager?
Seven Seas Voyager measures 42,363 gross tons and 670 feet long, with nine decks and 350 suites for 700 guests at double occupancy, served by 455 crew. She entered service in 2003 and, like every Regent ship, is all-suite and all-balcony. Her size lets her dock in smaller ports and keeps lounges and restaurants uncrowded.
What was done in the 2026 refurbishment?
During a spring 2026 dry dock in Marseille, Regent updated every suite with new furnishings, hardware, lighting and decor, redesigned the marble bathrooms in the top suite categories, installed new carpeting throughout the ship and renovated the Pool Grill with a wood-fired pizzeria. An earlier 2016 refit added Chartreuse and rebuilt La Veranda and the reception area.
What is included in the fare on Seven Seas Voyager?
Unlimited shore excursions in every port, all seven dining venues including the reservation-based Prime 7 and Chartreuse, unlimited beverages including fine wines and premium spirits, open bars, in-suite minibar, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry. Concierge Suites and above add a pre-cruise hotel night. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Regent allows it, not available booking direct.
Where does Seven Seas Voyager sail in 2026 and 2027?
Fall 2026 is the Eastern Mediterranean from Venice, Athens, Istanbul and Trieste. In December she sails Athens to Dubai, then the Indian Ocean and Southern Africa from Dubai, Port Louis and Cape Town through February 2027, with a 61-night Cape Town to Barcelona option. Spring brings Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon and Southampton, and summer 2027 covers the British Isles, Norway and the Baltic from Edinburgh, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
Which suite should I choose on Seven Seas Voyager?
Every suite has a balcony, so the 356-square-foot Deluxe Veranda Suite suits most couples. Concierge Suites add the pre-cruise hotel night and priority reservations, Penthouse Suites bring a butler, and the Seven Seas Suites on the aft corners have some of the largest balconies on the ship. The Signature Suites at the top offer up to 1,403 square feet with wraparound balconies.
Is Seven Seas Voyager a good first Regent ship?
Yes, if you prefer small ships. With 700 guests she is roughly half the size of Seven Seas Prestige and has seven restaurants rather than eleven, but the inclusions are identical: excursions, specialty dining, drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities. Her long Africa and Indian Ocean itineraries attract well-traveled guests, while the summer Northern Europe sailings offer 11- to 12-night options.
