About Seven Seas Mariner

Seven Seas Mariner was christened in March 2001 as the world’s first all-suite, all-balcony cruise ship, and that layout still defines her. At 48,075 gross tons and 709 feet, she carries 704 guests in 352 suites across eight guest decks, with 459 crew. A winter 2025 dry dock in Marseille refreshed every suite with new furnishings, lighting and decor, redesigned the marble bathrooms in the top categories, laid new carpet throughout and added a wood-fired pizzeria to the Pool Grill.

Regent’s all-inclusive fare covers unlimited shore excursions, all seven dining venues including Prime 7 and Chartreuse, unlimited drinks with fine wines and premium spirits, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry, with a pre-cruise hotel night for Concierge Suites and above. Evenings run from productions in the two-deck Constellation Theater to the Mariner Lounge dance floor, the Horizon and Observation Lounges and the late-night Stars Lounge beside the casino.

In 2026-2027 Seven Seas Mariner is Regent’s Grand Voyage ship. After a fall 2026 Mediterranean season she crosses to Miami, sails Western Caribbean holiday cruises from Tampa, then spends January to March 2027 circling South America from Miami to Rio, Buenos Aires and Lima. On April 29, 2027 she departs New York on the 92-night Grand Arctic Expedition to Southampton via Lisbon, Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Iceland and Greenland, followed by the 82-night Grand Mediterranean Odyssey from Southampton to Athens, with every leg sold as shorter segments.

Seven Seas Mariner questions we answer every day

How big is Seven Seas Mariner?
Seven Seas Mariner measures 48,075 gross tons and 709 feet long, with eight guest decks and 352 suites for 704 guests at double occupancy, served by 459 crew. Christened in 2001, she was the world’s first all-suite, all-balcony cruise ship. Her size keeps restaurants and lounges uncrowded and lets her dock in ports that larger ships cannot reach.
What was done in the 2025 refurbishment?
During a November 2025 dry dock in Marseille, Regent updated every suite with new furnishings, hardware, lighting and decor, redesigned the marble bathrooms in the top suite categories, installed new carpeting throughout and renovated the Pool Grill with a wood-fired pizzeria. A 2018 refit had already added Chartreuse, refreshed Compass Rose and redesigned the pool deck.
What is included in the fare on Seven Seas Mariner?
Unlimited shore excursions in every port, all seven dining venues including the reservation-based Prime 7 and Chartreuse, unlimited beverages including fine wines and premium spirits, open bars, in-suite minibar, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry. Concierge Suites and above add a pre-cruise hotel night. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Regent allows it, not available booking direct.
Where does Seven Seas Mariner sail in 2026 and 2027?
Fall 2026 is the Mediterranean from Rome, Athens and Barcelona before a transatlantic to Miami. December brings Western Caribbean holiday cruises from Tampa, then January to March 2027 covers South America from Miami to Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Lima. From New York on April 29, 2027 she sails the Grand Arctic Expedition through Northern Europe, Iceland and Greenland, then the Grand Mediterranean Odyssey, before heading to Arabia, Asia and Australia in late 2027.
What are Regent’s Grand Voyages on this ship?
Two long, all-inclusive journeys in 2027: the 92-night Grand Arctic Expedition from New York to Southampton via Lisbon, Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Reykjavik and Greenland, and the 82-night Grand Mediterranean Odyssey from Southampton to Athens through Iberia, Italy, the Adriatic and the Aegean. Both are also sold as 10- to 28-night segments, and the back-to-back pairing runs 174 nights.
Which suite should I choose on Seven Seas Mariner?
Every suite has a balcony, so the Deluxe Veranda Suite suits most couples. Concierge Suites add the pre-cruise hotel night and priority reservations, Penthouse Suites bring a butler, and the Horizon View Suites at the stern have deep balconies ideal for scenic cruising. Grand and Signature Suites offer separate living and dining rooms for long voyages.
