About Seabourn Ovation

Seabourn Ovation is the second and newest of Seabourn’s Encore Class ocean ships, delivered by Fincantieri in Genoa in April 2018 and christened in Valletta, Malta. She shares Seabourn Encore’s Adam D. Tihany design: about 40,350 gross tons, 690 feet long, 12 decks and 300 oceanfront suites with private verandas for 600 guests, with an extra deck over the older Seabourn ships that made room for a larger Seabourn Square, The Retreat and the al fresco Earth & Ocean at The Patio, which debuted on this ship.

Life on board is all-inclusive in the Seabourn sense: open-seating dining in The Restaurant, The Colonnade, The Patio, Solis and Sushi with no surcharge, premium spirits and fine wines poured all day, a stocked in-suite bar and a personal suite host. With 13 suite categories from Veranda to the Grand Wintergarden, Ovation attracts experienced travelers who want a club-like atmosphere, a strong lecture program through Seabourn Conversations and Marina Day watersports when the itinerary allows.

From November 2026 to March 2027 Seabourn Ovation shares a 20-departure Caribbean season with Seabourn Quest, sailing 7- to 16-day voyages from Barbados, St. Maarten, Miami and San Juan, including a Christmas voyage from Barbados to St. Maarten and a New Year sailing back. From April to November 2027 she moves to the Mediterranean for 127 departures of 7 to 14 days, headlined by a 14-day Monte Carlo to Dubrovnik voyage timed to the total solar eclipse of August 2, 2027.

Staterooms and suites

Veranda Suite

Four Veranda grades of 246 to 302 square feet inside plus a 68 to 83 square foot veranda, with a living area and dining table for two, walk-in closet, stocked bar and refrigerator and a bath with separate tub and shower; Deck 5 suites have slightly larger verandas.

Penthouse Suite

About 436 square feet with a 98 square foot veranda, a separate bedroom, dining for two to four, two flat-screen TVs and a marble bath with double vanities, plus full-size Molton Brown amenities, a Nespresso machine and the Stream Wi-Fi package.

Penthouse Spa Suite

536 to 539 square feet with 167 to 200 square foot verandas beside the spa, an oversize rain shower and whirlpool tub, essential-oil diffusion, a second healthy-options bar and access to the Spa Serene Area with a Spa Concierge.

Owner’s and Signature Suites

Owner’s Suites of 526 to 593 square feet with verandas from 133 to 354 square feet; forward Signature Suites of 859 square feet with a 493 square foot wraparound veranda, dining for four to six, guest bath, pantry with wet bar and whirlpool tub, with Swarovski binoculars and an airport transfer included.

Wintergarden and Grand Suites

The 989 square foot Wintergarden Suite adds a glass-enclosed solarium with tub and day bed on the veranda; connecting pairs on Deck 8 combine into Grand Signature and Grand Wintergarden Suites of up to 1,306 square feet inside with verandas up to 960 square feet.

The two are near-identical sisters with the same 300 suites, 13 categories, Solis, Sushi, The Retreat and Seabourn Square. Ovation launched two years later with Earth & Ocean at The Patio and part-glass railings on the forward Deck 7 suites. Where they sail is the real difference: in 2026 and 2027 Ovation covers the Caribbean and the Mediterranean while Encore is in Alaska and Asia.
