About Silver Muse

Silver Muse introduced the Muse Class in 2017 and set the template for Silver Moon and Silver Dawn. Built by Fincantieri at 40,700 gross tons, it carries 632 guests with a crew of 415 after a 2025 drydock that refreshed every suite, added the 538 sq ft Medallion Suite category and put a mini pickleball court, golf putting green and golf hitting bay on the top decks; Kaiseki sits beside the S.A.L.T. Kitchen on deck 4. All suites have butler service and almost all have a veranda.

Eight dining venues plus the Arts Café include Atlantide, La Terrazza, Kaiseki, La Dame, the Silver Note supper club, The Grill, Spaccanapoli and the S.A.L.T. Kitchen with the S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab. The Venetian Lounge is a cabaret-style theater, the Observation Library sits on deck 11 and the Zagara Beauty Spa has nine treatment rooms, an acupuncture suite and an outdoor whirlpool. A conference and card room and a new activities room cover sea days.

Through 2026 and 2027 Silver Muse works from Europe to Asia. After a fall 2026 Mediterranean season from Venice, Valletta and Lisbon it sails Lisbon to Cape Town, Cape Town to Mumbai and on to Singapore, then spends January to March 2027 on 14 night Southeast Asia voyages between Singapore and Hong Kong. From March it moves to Japan for 12 to 14 night voyages from Tokyo, Yokohama and Incheon through October. It suits travelers who want Silversea’s classic mid-size format on long-haul Asian itineraries.

Vista Suite

Classic, Superior and Deluxe Veranda Suites

387 sq ft including a 65 sq ft veranda with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, sitting area, full-size bath and separate shower; one layout in three locations, and some sleep three guests.

Medallion Suite

New in 2025 at 538 sq ft including a 96 sq ft veranda, with a living room and convertible sofa, full-size bath, walk-in wardrobe and two TVs, a step between the Veranda and Silver Suites.

Silver, Royal and Owner’s Suites

Silver Suites are 786 sq ft with a living and dining room; Royal Suites 1,130 sq ft (1,528 sq ft as a two-bedroom) and Owner’s Suites 947 to 1,055 sq ft (up to 1,389 sq ft) add powder rooms and full apartments at sea.

Grand Suite

1,472 sq ft on deck 9 and 1,572 sq ft on deck 8 with two verandas of 474 to 570 sq ft, a dining room and a powder room, expanding to 1,970 sq ft with a second bedroom.

How big is Silver Muse?
Silver Muse is 40,700 gross tons and 698 feet long with eight passenger decks, carrying 632 guests and a crew of 415. It was the first Muse Class ship in 2017 and the model for Silver Moon and Silver Dawn, and its 2025 drydock brought the suites and public rooms up to the standard of the newer sisters while adding sports facilities on the top decks.
What changed on Silver Muse in 2025?
Silversea lists 2025 as the ship’s latest refurbishment. The suites were refreshed and the 538 sq ft Medallion Suite category added between the Veranda and Silver Suites, and the current deck plan shows a conference and card room, an activities room with outdoor area, a mini pickleball court on deck 11 and a golf putting green and hitting bay on deck 12 reached through the Observation Library. Capacity is now 632 guests.
Where does Silver Muse sail in 2026 and 2027?
After a fall 2026 Mediterranean season from Venice and Lisbon, Silver Muse sails to Cape Town, Mumbai and Singapore, then spends January to March 2027 on 14 night Southeast Asia voyages between Singapore and Hong Kong. From late March to October 2027 it sails Japan and South Korea, with 12 to 14 night voyages from Tokyo, Yokohama and Incheon, before returning to Hong Kong and Singapore for the winter.
Which suites should I book on Silver Muse?
Deluxe Veranda Suites are the standard 387 sq ft layout in the best central positions. The new Medallion Suites add a living room at 538 sq ft, Silver Suites add a dining room at 786 sq ft, and Royal, Owner’s and Grand Suites run from 947 to 1,572 sq ft with powder rooms and, in the Grand, two verandas. Vista and Panorama Suites use picture windows for guests who do not need a veranda.
What is included on Silver Muse?
Butler service in every suite, open bars and stocked in-suite drinks, seven restaurants plus the Arts Café, gratuities, Wi-Fi and a shore excursion in most ports on port-to-port fares; door-to-door fares add flights and transfers. La Dame and the Kaiseki dinner carry reservation fees, and spa treatments are extra.
How does Silver Muse compare with Silver Moon and Silver Dawn?
All three are Muse Class ships with the same hull, eight dining venues and S.A.L.T. program. Silver Muse now has a slightly higher capacity of 632, the Medallion Suite grade, the Zagara spa rather than Otium, and the only pickleball court and golf bay in the group. Choose by itinerary: Silver Muse covers Asia in 2027, Silver Moon takes Japan, Australia and Alaska, and Silver Dawn sails the world cruise.
