About Silver Moon
Silver Moon is the second of Silversea’s three Muse Class ships, built by Fincantieri in 2020 at 40,700 gross tons for 596 guests and a crew of 411. It introduced S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste), Silversea’s destination-driven culinary program, with a dedicated S.A.L.T. Kitchen, S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab cooking school on deck 4. All 298 suites have butler service and almost all have a veranda; only the deck 4 Vista and deck 9 Panorama suites look out through picture windows instead.
Eight dining options plus the Arts Café include Atlantide, La Terrazza, Kaiseki, La Dame, the Silver Note jazz supper club, The Grill and Spaccanapoli pizzeria. The Venetian Lounge is a cabaret-style theater, the Observation Library and Panorama Lounge take the top decks, and the Zagara Beauty Spa has nine treatment rooms, an acupuncture suite and an outdoor whirlpool. The scale keeps things quiet: no lines, no sailaway crowds and a restaurant seat whenever you want one.
Through 2026 and 2027 Silver Moon is Silversea’s Asia-Pacific ship. It sails 14 night Japan voyages round trip from Tokyo in spring and fall, including cherry blossom season, runs Singapore and Indonesia legs, and spends November to March on seven Australia and New Zealand itineraries from Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. From late May to early September 2027 it alternates seven night Alaska voyages between Vancouver and Seward. It suits travelers who want a mid-size luxury ship with a strong food program on long-haul itineraries.
