About Avalon Tapestry II

Avalon Tapestry II is Avalon’s ship on the Seine. Delivered in 2015 as one of the line’s 128-guest Suite Ships, it is 361 feet long with four decks, 64 staterooms and a crew of 37, a size that lets it dock in central Paris and squeeze through the Seine’s locks on the way to Normandy. Its sisters are Visionary, Artistry II, Poetry II, Tranquility II and Imagery II.

The Royal and Sapphire decks are filled with 200-square-foot Panorama Suites, each with the wall-to-wall Open-Air Balcony window that slides open seven feet wide and a Comfort Collection bed facing the river, with Deluxe Staterooms on the Indigo Deck. Meals are in the glass-walled Panorama Dining Room with French wines and beer included at lunch and dinner, the Panorama Bistro and Sky Bistro add lighter options, and the Sky Deck has a whirlpool and shade system.

In 2026 and 2027 Avalon Tapestry II sails the eight-day Paris to Normandy cruise, round trip from Paris to Vernon, Rouen and Conflans with visits to Giverny and the D-Day landing beaches, plus a WWII Remembrance version, Active & Discovery on the Seine and longer combinations with the Rhine (Timeless Rivers of Europe) and with Avalon Poetry II on the Rhone (Grand France). Where does Avalon Tapestry II sail in 2026 and 2027?
Avalon Tapestry II sails the Seine. The core itinerary is the eight-day Paris to Normandy cruise, round trip from Paris with stops at Vernon for Giverny, Rouen and Conflans and a full day at the Normandy landing beaches. What is Grand France?
Grand France is a 15-day Avalon combination that pairs the Paris to Normandy cruise on Avalon Tapestry II with the Burgundy & Provence cruise on Avalon Poetry II, linked by rail between Paris and Lyon. Which staterooms are best on Avalon Tapestry II?

Is Avalon Tapestry II suitable for children?
