About Kanee Pandaw

Kanee Pandaw is a 14-stateroom K class river ship built in Myanmar in 2019, the newest ship in Pandaw’s Myanmar fleet and the one that carries its Irrawaddy Delta program. At 140 feet with a beam of 25 feet, she is one of the ultra-shallow twin-decked K class vessels Pandaw designed to reach creeks and tidal channels larger ships cannot enter, which is exactly what the delta south of Yangon demands.

For 2026-2027 Kanee Pandaw is the main ship on The Great Irrawaddy Delta, a ten-night round trip from Botahtaung Jetty in Yangon with departures from late October through mid-March in both the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 seasons. Pandaw says it sails only in the Irrawaddy Delta in line with UK Foreign Office advice and does not purchase from military-owned businesses; its former Mandalay, Bagan and Chindwin routes are not on sale.

On board, six upper-deck and eight main-deck staterooms of about 170 square feet are finished in teak and brass with a panoramic French window, Nespresso machine and complimentary minibar. The air-conditioned dining room has al fresco bistro seating, the upper deck carries an open-air lounge and bar, and there are wrap-around promenades, a library and mountain bikes. The Burma drinks package, all excursions, guides and crew gratuities are included.
