About American Harmony
American Harmony is the second of American Cruise Lines’ contemporary American Riverboats, delivered in 2019 and now the modern flagship of the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The 180-guest ship is built around a five-story glass-enclosed atrium with a domed skylight that serves as the central gathering point, with expansive lounges behind big glass windows, a Bow Terrace, the Back Porch Cafe, a Sky Lounge, River Lounge and midship lounges, The Study, a fitness center, a guest laundry and a sun deck with a putting green. A unique bow ramp lets guests walk straight ashore in small ports.
The suite program is the draw. Sky Suites on deck 3 measure 615 square feet with a separate bedroom and living room, a breakfast bar and a 25-foot wraparound balcony, and the Grand Suites are big enough to host small cocktail parties. Veranda Suites are at least 350 square feet, Premium and Deluxe Balcony rooms are 300 square feet, Main Deck Standard Balcony rooms are 275 square feet, and every stateroom on the ship has a private balcony. Elevators serve all passenger decks.
American Harmony sails the eight-night Columbia and Snake Rivers Cruise one way between Portland, Oregon, and Clarkston, Washington, with departures in both directions from October 2026 through the whole 2027 season, plus six-night Columbia River Gorge round trips from Portland in spring 2027. Ports include Astoria, Kalama, The Dalles, Pendleton or Richland and Lewiston, Idaho, with Hells Canyon, Multnomah Falls and Walla Walla wine country among the excursions.
