About American Glory
American Glory is the second of American Cruise Lines’ Coastal Cats, delivered by Chesapeake Shipbuilding in November 2023 and christened in Key West after its inaugural voyage from Maryland to Florida. A 100-guest catamaran on four decks with 56 staterooms, it blends the access of expedition cruising with the comfort and stability of a river cruise: the twin hulls draw little water, so it reaches small ports and can travel almost any river or protected waterway in the country.
Observation and sitting areas fill the bow, the sun deck has a walking track, and the stern carries a swim and activity platform with a tender for local exploration. Every stateroom has a private balcony or a Main Deck picture window with a built-in bench, from 250-square-foot singles to the 550-square-foot Grand Suite. The interior is modern and calm, with artwork that nods to American history, and fares include all meals, drinks, excursions and a hotel night.
American Glory covers the length of the East Coast in 2026 and 2027. Winter and spring go to Southeast Sea Islands cruises between Charleston and Amelia Island, then the East Coast Inland Passage carries it to Washington, D.C., and the Potomac & Chesapeake Bay cruise to Baltimore. Summer is spent on New England Islands round trips from Providence, with Cape Codder and Northeast Harbors cruises, before Hudson River Fall Foliage from Albany and a Great Rivers of Florida cruise from Jacksonville.
