S.S. Elisabeth: ship guide
Velvet, marble and 506-square-foot Royal Suites on Uniworld’s 2025 Rhine arrival.
Best for: Couples who want a large suite or a 253-square-foot stateroom on a modern, quiet ship for the Rhine, the Main at Christmas, Tulip Time and Belgium. Sails from Nuremberg, Basel, Amsterdam, Brussels in 2026 and 2027.

About S.S. Elisabeth
S.S. Elisabeth joined Uniworld in 2025 as the sister ship of S.S. Victoria. Built in 2017 and restyled for Uniworld in contemporary style with luxe velvet and marble accents and original artwork, it carries 110 guests in 55 staterooms with a staff of 41. Like its sister it offers what Uniworld calls the largest suites on the rivers of Europe: two Royal Suites of 506 square feet, each of which can be joined to the Suite next door to form a 759-square-foot two-bedroom suite with its own living room.
The generous footprint runs through the ship. Sixteen Suites and twenty-one Signature French Balcony staterooms measure 253 square feet, and the Deluxe and standard French Balcony rooms are 188 square feet, all with water-facing king beds in Uniworld’s custom linens. Guests choose from three dining venues, the main restaurant, a private venue for smaller groups and a sun deck bar, and have a pool, gym and massage room. Uniworld points out that the ship is operated for the line, so some amenities differ from its company-owned ships.
S.S. Elisabeth sails the Rhine and the Dutch and Belgian waterways in 2026 and 2027, opening with Classic Christmas Markets from Nuremberg to Frankfurt on the Main in December 2026, then Tulips & Windmills from Amsterdam to Antwerp, Castles Along the Rhine from Basel to Arnhem or Amsterdam, a Geneva-to-Amsterdam Switzerland and Rhine cruise-and-tour, Belgian Holiday Markets and the Dutch & Belgian Holiday Celebration in 2027. It suits couples who value cabin space and a calm, modern ship.
