About S.S. Emilie
S.S. Emilie is Uniworld’s first newbuild since 2020 and the flagship of its 50th anniversary year. Launched on the Danube in 2026 and christened in March, the 154-guest Super Ship is inspired by the Viennese painter Gustav Klimt and named for his muse and life partner, Emilie Flöge. Expect Klimt’s signature look on board: dramatic hues, Art Nouveau lines and pops of gold through the lobby, restaurant and lounge, with suites finished in green or blue schemes.
The 443-foot ship carries 154 guests in 77 staterooms with a staff of 57. Categories run from 175-square-foot Classic rooms through 194-to-227-square-foot French Balcony and Deluxe French Balcony staterooms to eight 286-square-foot Suites and two 412-square-foot Grand Suites with two half-opening French balcony windows, a tub and butler service. Book a Grand Suite with the adjoining Deluxe French Balcony and the pair becomes a two-bedroom suite. The ship has a main restaurant, a lounge and a separate aft lounge plus a sun deck.
In 2026 S.S. Emilie sails the Danube on Vienna & Capital Cities of the Danube, Vineyards & Palaces along the Danube with Prague, the 15-day Danube Grandeur from Belgrade to Nuremberg, Classic Christmas Markets and Grand Christmas & New Year’s, and hosts the 50th anniversary President’s Cruise in October. In 2027 it adds Capital Cities of the Danube, European Holiday Markets, Castles Along the Rhine and the one-off 15-day European Gems from Amsterdam to Vienna. It suits travelers who want the newest Uniworld ship on the Danube.

Deluxe French Balcony
Twenty staterooms of 194 square feet with a French balcony on the upper deck; two of them adjoin the Grand Suites and can be booked together as a second bedroom.
Suite
Eight Suites of 286 square feet with two French balcony windows that open to half height, finished in green or blue schemes, with butler service, laundry, in-room breakfast, a stocked mini bar, Nespresso machine and daily treats from the pastry chef.
Grand Suite
Two Grand Suites of 412 square feet with two half-opening French balcony windows, a marble bathroom with rain shower and tub and a separate toilet area, full butler service and in-suite treats; combine with the adjoining Deluxe French Balcony for a two-bedroom suite.
