Mekong Mystique: ship guide
An all-suite, 68-guest Mekong ship in 1930s Indochine style, announced for 2028.
Best for: Travelers planning Vietnam and Cambodia for 2028 who want a brand-new all-suite ship with large suites, included excursions and gratuities, and Angkor Wat and Ha Long Bay on the same journey. Sails from Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap in 2026 and 2027.

About Mekong Mystique
Mekong Mystique is an announced ship: Uniworld unveiled it in July 2026 as one of three vessels debuting in 2028, and it is scheduled to begin sailing Vietnam and Cambodia that year. It will add capacity alongside the existing Mekong Jewel. The design story draws on 1930s French Indochine style and the lush landscape of the Mekong itself, blending European architecture with natural materials and references to the heritage of both countries.
The published plan is an all-suite ship for 68 guests with a staff of 51, which gives a near one-to-one ratio. Thirty 347-square-foot Suites make up most of the ship, with two 657-square-foot Grand Suites and two 889-square-foot Royal Suites at the top. At 262 feet and 42 feet wide it is a large ship by Mekong standards. Uniworld notes that amenities on this operated ship may differ from its company-owned vessels in Europe; dining venues and deck details will be published closer to launch.
Mekong Mystique will sail exclusively on the 15-day Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong, Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi or reverse, which pairs the river cruise between the Mekong Delta and Cambodia with hotel stays in Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap for Angkor Wat, Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. It suits travelers who want Southeast Asia on a newer, all-suite ship with excursions, gratuities and most drinks included.
