About S.S. Clara

S.S. Clara is an announced ship. Uniworld unveiled it in July 2026 as one of three vessels debuting in 2028, and it is scheduled to join the Rhine fleet that year. It is named for Clara Peeters, the 17th-century Flemish painter who was one of the most celebrated women artists of the Dutch Golden Age, and its interiors are inspired by her still lifes: bright florals, gilded tableware, rich textures and detailed European craftsmanship. Its debut itinerary is Holland & Belgium at Tulip Time.

The ship follows the Super Ship platform of S.S. Emilie, S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene: 443 feet, 154 guests, a staff of 57 and 77 riverview staterooms from 175-square-foot Classic rooms through 194-to-227-square-foot French Balcony staterooms to eight 286-square-foot Suites and two 412-square-foot Grand Suites with a tub and butler service. A Grand Suite joins with the adjoining Deluxe French Balcony to form a two-bedroom suite, and the beds are handcrafted Savoir Beds of England.

For 2028 Uniworld has assigned S.S. Clara to the Rhine, Moselle and Main: Holland & Belgium at Tulip Time, Dutch & Flemish Treasures, Remarkable Rhine & Historic Holland, Castles Along the Rhine from Basel, Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems, Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps and Moselle Holiday Markets from Trier, plus the 30-day Amsterdam to the Black Sea. It suits travelers who plan ahead and want a brand-new ship for the Low Countries and the Rhine.
