About Amadeus Star
Amadeus Star joined the Lueftner family fleet in 2019 as the newest 135-meter ship of its generation, carrying 164 guests in 70 staterooms and 12 suites with a crew of about 45. Its signature is the River Terrace at the bow, an open-air lounge wrapped in glass so you can sit outside in the scenery whatever the weather, paired with the Amadeus Club wine bar and library at the stern.
Nearly every stateroom faces the river. Mozart and Strauss Deck cabins measure 188 square feet with panoramic windows that lower at the push of a button, Haydn Deck cabins are 172 square feet behind fixed picture windows, and the 12 Amadeus Suites add a walk-out balcony, a walk-in wardrobe and an espresso machine. The Panorama Restaurant serves a four-course dinner each evening with wine, beer and soft drinks included at lunch and dinner.
In 2026 and 2027 Amadeus Star splits its year between the Rhine and the Danube: the eight-day Classical Rhine Cruise between Amsterdam and Basel, Danube Rhapsody round trips from Passau, Classical Danube Cruises between Passau and Budapest, the spring Tulip Serenade from Amsterdam, a 16-day Beautiful Blue Danube and Danube Delta voyage, and Advent cruises between Nuremberg and Vienna. It suits couples who want a quiet, adult-oriented ship with an inclusive fare and e-bikes for independent exploring.
