About Amadeus Queen
Amadeus Queen arrived in 2018 as the first Lueftner ship with a heated indoor pool, set at the stern under a glass roof that slides open on warm days and doubles as an evening venue for lectures and film screenings. The 135-meter ship carries 162 guests in 69 staterooms and 12 suites with a crew of about 46, and a hair salon and massage room sit alongside the 24-hour fitness room.
Staterooms follow the Amadeus pattern: 188-square-foot cabins on the Mozart and Strauss decks with panoramic windows that lower at the push of a button, 172-square-foot Haydn Deck cabins with fixed picture windows, and 284-square-foot Amadeus Suites with a walk-out balcony, walk-in wardrobe and espresso machine. Meals are in the Panorama Restaurant with wine, beer and soft drinks included at lunch and dinner, and coffee and tea are free around the clock in the Amadeus Club.
For 2026 and 2027 Amadeus Queen works the Rhine and the Danube: Classical Rhine Cruises between Amsterdam and Basel, Danube Rhapsody round trips from Passau, Classical Danube Cruises between Passau and Budapest with an optional Prague stay, the spring Tulip Serenade from Amsterdam and Advent cruises in both directions between Nuremberg and Vienna. It is the pick for guests who want to swim on a river cruise without giving up the Amadeus window-wall cabins.
