About Celebrity Ascent
Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in the Edge Series and a sister to Celebrity Beyond, entering service in December 2023. At 141,420 gross tons and 1,073 feet it carries 3,260 guests at double occupancy in 1,646 staterooms with a crew of about 1,416, and Celebrity calls it the most innovative ship in the series. It has the longer Edge hull with the enlarged Rooftop Garden, two cantilevered floating pools, the Nate Berkus Sunset Bar and 32 restaurants, bars and lounges.
Ascent is built for guests who care about food and design. Four included main restaurants, Blu for AquaClass and Luminae for The Retreat cover the included dining; Le Voyage by Chef Daniel Boulud, Fine Cut Steakhouse, Raw on 5, Rooftop Garden Grill, Le Petit Chef and Eden Restaurant are the specialty options. The Retreat gives suite guests a private restaurant, lounge and the expanded Retreat Sundeck with its own pool. Camp at Sea and the Teen Club run on every sailing.
For 2026 and 2027 Celebrity Ascent splits its year between Rome and Fort Lauderdale. From spring to October it sails 10 and 11-night Mediterranean cruises round trip from Civitavecchia to Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Italy and Spain, then crosses the Atlantic in late October. From November through April it sails 10 and 11-night Southern Caribbean and Panama Canal itineraries from Fort Lauderdale to Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados and the ABC islands.
