About Celebrity Silhouette

Celebrity Silhouette debuted in 2011 as the fourth Solstice Class ship and completed its Celebrity Revolution refit in January 2020, a 42-day makeover that added The Retreat Sundeck with pool and hot tub, a new Retreat Lounge, the Craft Social bar, a reimagined Passport Bar, new boutiques, new spa treatment rooms and refreshed staterooms with eXhale bedding and Cashmere mattresses.

Silhouette and sister Reflection are the only Solstice Class ships with the Lawn Club Grill, an outdoor steak and flatbread restaurant on the lawn, and The Porch seafood and raw bar, giving the ship twelve dining venues alongside Murano, Tuscan Grille, Sushi on Five and Le Petit Chef. The Hideaway, the two-level Library and the adults-only Solarium make it an easy ship on which to find quiet.

For 2026 and 2027 Silhouette sails Iceland round trips from Reykjavik in summer, Canada and New England from Boston each fall, and 6 to 11-night Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale in winter, with a spring 2027 repositioning to Cape Liberty. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Celebrity allows it, not available booking direct.

Celebrity Silhouette questions we answer every day

How big is Celebrity Silhouette?
Celebrity Silhouette is 122,210 gross tons and 1,047 feet long with a 121-foot beam, carrying 2,902 guests at double occupancy. It is slightly larger than the first three Solstice Class ships, which allowed the Lawn Club Grill, The Porch and Single Inside staterooms to be added while keeping the same relaxed mid-size feel.
When was Celebrity Silhouette last refurbished?
Silhouette completed the Celebrity Revolution in January 2020 after a 42-day dry dock. The refit added The Retreat Sundeck and Retreat Lounge, the Craft Social bar, a reimagined Passport Bar, new designer boutiques, new spa treatment rooms and refreshed staterooms with eXhale bedding. Celebrity has said all Solstice Class ships are part of its renewal program that began with Solstice in 2026.
Which staterooms are best on Celebrity Silhouette?
Veranda and Concierge Class staterooms mid-ship are the best all-round value, and AquaClass is worth it for spa lovers who want Blu and the Persian Garden. Solo travelers get real Single Inside staterooms. Sky Suites open the door to The Retreat Sundeck, butler service and Luminae, and the aft Horizon Suites have some of the largest verandas on the ship.
What is included in the fare on Celebrity Silhouette?
The fare covers your stateroom, the Main Restaurant, Oceanview Café, Mast Grill and Spa Café, theater shows and live music, the pools and Solarium, the Lawn Club, the fitness center and Camp at Sea daytime sessions. Specialty restaurants including the Lawn Club Grill, drinks, Wi-Fi and spa treatments are extra unless packaged. AquaClass includes Blu and suites include Luminae.
Where does Celebrity Silhouette sail in 2026 and 2027?
Silhouette sails 7-night Iceland round trips from Reykjavik in summer, repositions via Greenland to Boston in early September for 11 and 12-night Canada and New England cruises, then heads to Fort Lauderdale in mid-October for 6 to 11-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises through April. In spring 2027 she sails to Cape Liberty before returning to Reykjavik and Boston for the 2027 season.
Is Celebrity Silhouette good for families?
Yes. Camp at Sea runs daily for ages 3 to 12, the Teen Club covers 13 to 17, the Lawn Club gives children room to play, and short Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale suit school breaks. The Solarium is adults-only outside set family hours, and the ship has no waterslides, so it is best for families who value dining and calm over thrill features.
