About Celebrity Wanderer

Celebrity Wanderer is one of three Celebrity River Cruises ships debuting in 2028, following Compass and Seeker. Built to the same TeamCo design, it carries 172 guests in 86 staterooms across five categories, every one with a king-size bed and butler service in every suite. Celebrity describes it as blending quiet luxury with thoughtful design, with open-air lounges, a panoramic bow terrace, skylit lounges, hybrid power and next-generation hull engineering for a smoother, quieter ride.

Wanderer suits couples and small groups who want a brand-new river ship with most of the trip included. Wi-Fi, unlimited drinks, continental breakfast in your stateroom and one guided excursion a day are part of the fare. Eight restaurants and bars include two main dining rooms, Café al Bacio, a reservation-only Chef’s Table, the Top Deck Bar and Grille, the Martini Bar and the Sunset Lounge and Bar, and the Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites are a river-cruise first.

Wanderer is scheduled for the Rhine and the Dutch and Belgian waterways. Its first published itineraries are 7-night sailings between Amsterdam and Brussels for the spring tulip season, with the Rhine between Amsterdam and Basel through the castle-lined Rhine Gorge, Cologne, Koblenz, Strasbourg and the Black Forest making up the core season. Celebrity plans more than 60 Rhine sailings across the fleet, including Christmas-market departures.

Entry-level staterooms on the lower deck with a fixed window set high in the wall, a king-size bed, filtered water and the same included drinks and excursions as every other room.

Infinite Balcony

The most common category: a French-balcony style room where the window lowers to open the whole stateroom to the river, with a king-size bed and complimentary stocked minibar.

Vista Balcony

Staterooms with a step-out private balcony for guests who want a real outdoor seat on the river, plus the king-size bed and daily turndown service.

Vista Balcony Suite

What is the best stateroom on Celebrity Wanderer?
For most guests the Infinite Balcony stateroom is the one to book: the window lowers and the whole room becomes a balcony. If you want a step-out balcony, choose a Vista Balcony stateroom or suite. The Skylight Infinite Balcony Suites are unique to Celebrity River, with a separate living area, a skylight over the bed and butler service, and there are only a handful on board.
