About Norwegian Jade
Norwegian Jade is a 93,558-ton Jewel Class ship built in 2006 that carries 2,352 guests at double occupancy with a crew of 1,037. It began life as Pride of Hawaii and keeps the class’s best features: the Grand Pacific and Alizar main dining rooms, a Stardust-style theater, a full Haven suite complex with a courtyard pool, and bars such as Sugarcane, Tankards and Magnum’s. Guest decks run from Deck 4 to Deck 15.
Jade came out of a spring 2026 dry dock in Victoria, British Columbia with the adults-only Vibe Beach Club on Deck 14, with seven private cabanas, 54 premium loungers and an extra hot tub, plus routine technical work. An earlier Norwegian Edge refit renewed every stateroom with new carpets, furniture, TVs and USB-equipped headboards and refreshed The Haven. Specialty dining covers Cagney’s, Le Bistro, La Cucina, Moderno, Teppanyaki, Sushi and Jasmine Garden.
Jade is Norwegian’s Alaska and Asia ship for 2026 and 2027. From May through September it sails seven-day open-jaw Alaska cruises between Vancouver and Whittier with Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay on every voyage. From October 2026 through April 2027 it moves to Asia for nine to fourteen-day cruises from Tokyo, Incheon (Seoul), Hong Kong and Singapore, then returns to Alaska in May 2027. It suits destination-first travelers who want a comfortable mid-size ship.
