About Amadeus Mira
Amadeus Mira is an upcoming ship, announced in January 2026 as the new five-star vessel of the 2027 program and due to join the Amadeus River Cruises fleet in spring 2027 for the Rhine, Main and Danube. Her fleet page lists her at 443 feet with four decks, 66 outside cabins and 12 Amadeus Suites for a maximum of 156 guests and a crew of about 46; the launch press release quoted 67 cabins and 158 guests, so expect the final count to settle once she is delivered.
Amadeus describes Mira as a contemporary take on river cruising with the most generous public spaces in the fleet and more outdoor space than her predecessors. The Panorama Restaurant, the Amadeus Lounge for lunch with a view, Café Vienna, the Lido Bar and a heated pool on the sun deck, a fitness room and the River Terrace are all planned, and the suites have floor-to-ceiling windows and walk-out balconies. Technically she follows Nova and Aurea with hybrid diesel-electric propulsion, a large battery, solar panels, insulated glazing, heat recovery, catalytic converters and a semi-autonomous control system.
Her first season, 2027, mixes rivers more than any other Amadeus ship: Tulip Serenade from Amsterdam in spring, the Three-Rivers Cruise from Amsterdam to Nuremberg, the Rhine and Danube Symphony from Cologne to Passau, German Riverscapes from Trier to Passau, the 15-day Across Europe voyage from Amsterdam to Budapest, Danube weeks from Passau, Nuremberg and Budapest, Lower Danube voyages between Vienna and Bucharest, a 16-day Danube Delta round trip, a Prague extension, and Advent, Christmas and New Year’s Eve cruises on the Rhine from Cologne and Strasbourg.
