About Carnival Dream

Carnival Dream launched the Dream Class in 2009 and set the template that Carnival Magic and Carnival Breeze followed. She is 130,000 gross tons and 1,004 feet long, with 14 guest decks and 3,646 guests at double occupancy served by a crew of 1,367. The Lanai, a half-mile wraparound promenade on deck 5 with whirlpools cantilevered over the sea, and the Ocean Plaza indoor-outdoor cafe and lounge were both firsts for Carnival on this ship.

A 16-day dry dock in Marseille in March 2026 covered propulsion and stabilizer work, hull repainting and hotel upkeep and added a Dreams Studio, a Carnival Adventures store and a redesigned casino. Dining includes two two-level main dining rooms, Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Pizzeria del Capitano, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que and Mongolian Wok, with the steakhouse, Bonsai Sushi, Seafood Shack and Chef’s Table as extras.

Through May 8, 2027 Carnival Dream sails mostly 7-night Western Caribbean and Bahamas cruises from Galveston, including Key West, Celebration Key and Nassau, plus 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises to the Eastern and Southern Caribbean in October 2026 and January 2027. She arrives in New Orleans on May 16, 2027 and then offers 4- and 5-night cruises to Mexico year-round from Port NOLA.
