About Celebrity Millennium

Celebrity Millennium is the ship that gave the Millennium Class its name in 2000 and the first in the fleet to receive the Celebrity Revolution in 2019. That refit brought The Retreat Sundeck with pool and hot tub, The Retreat Lounge, an expanded Luminae, reimagined Main Restaurant, Oceanview Café, Sunset Bar and Rendezvous Lounge, a redesigned spa, new boutiques and brand new staterooms with eXhale bedding. Forbes Travel Guide rates the ship Four-Star.

At 91,011 gross tons for 2,218 guests, Millennium is a mid-size ship with a single main pool deck, an adults-only Solarium under glass, the Sky Lounge observation lounge and the Rooftop Terrace for outdoor movies. Dining includes Tuscan Grille, Sushi on Five and Le Petit Chef as specialty options, Blu for AquaClass guests and Luminae for suites, plus Cellar Masters wine tastings.

Millennium is Celebrity’s Asia ship. In 2026 and 2027 she sails Japan round trips from Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan and Korea itineraries to Seoul (Incheon), and winter voyages linking Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and Bali, including 15-night Singapore to Japan repositionings. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Celebrity allows it, not available booking direct.

Celebrity Millennium questions we answer every day

How big is Celebrity Millennium?
Celebrity Millennium is 91,011 gross tons and 965 feet long with a 105-foot beam, carrying 2,218 guests at double occupancy. It is a mid-size ship by today’s standards, which suits Asia: it docks in Yokohama, Kobe, Busan and Keelung, lines are short and the single pool deck and Solarium rarely feel crowded.
When was Celebrity Millennium last refurbished?
Millennium was the first ship to receive the Celebrity Revolution, emerging from dry dock in Singapore in February 2019 with the line’s new livery. The refit added The Retreat Sundeck and The Retreat Lounge, expanded Luminae, reimagined the Main Restaurant, Oceanview Café, Sunset Bar and Rendezvous Lounge, redesigned the spa and added new staterooms and boutiques. Starlink internet followed fleetwide.
Which staterooms are best on Celebrity Millennium?
Aft Veranda staterooms with verandas up to 242 sq ft are the sleeper pick for watching Japan’s coastline slide by. AquaClass near the Spa suits wellness-minded guests with Blu and the Persian Garden. Sky Suites are the entry to The Retreat with butler service, Luminae and the private sundeck, and the Penthouse Suite has a 1,098 sq ft wraparound veranda.
What is included in the fare on Celebrity Millennium?
The fare covers your stateroom, the Main Restaurant, Oceanview Café, Mast Grill and Spa Café, theater and lounge entertainment, the pool and Solarium, the fitness center and Camp at Sea daytime sessions. Tuscan Grille, Sushi on Five, Le Petit Chef, drinks, Wi-Fi and spa services are extra unless you add a package. AquaClass includes Blu and suites include Luminae.
Where does Celebrity Millennium sail in 2026 and 2027?
Millennium stays in Asia. Fall 2026 brings Japan round trips from Tokyo (Yokohama), then Yokohama to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to Singapore and Singapore and Bali sailings through winter. In February 2027 she repositions 15 nights from Singapore to Yokohama, sails 12 and 13-night Japan and Korea itineraries from Tokyo and Seoul (Incheon) through summer 2027, then returns south for the 2027 to 2028 winter.
Is Celebrity Millennium good for families?
Families with older children enjoy it: Camp at Sea runs daily for ages 3 to 12, the Teen Club covers 13 to 17 and the Japan itineraries are full of culture and food. There are no waterslides or large family pool areas, and the Solarium is adults-only outside set hours, so it suits curious, travel-focused families rather than those seeking resort-style thrills.
