About Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Solstice is the ship that launched Celebrity’s Solstice Class in 2008, and in March 2026 it became the first of the line’s classic ships to be fully renewed. After a 45-day dry dock in Singapore every stateroom was updated, 54 staterooms were added and eight new experiences came aboard, from Trattoria Rossa and Fine Cut Steakhouse to the Boulevard Lounge and a redesigned Retreat with its own sundeck and oversized hot tub.

This is a modern premium ship for couples and multigenerational families who want polished dining, adults-only space and a strong suite program without the scale of a mega-ship. The Lawn Club has given way to Sunset Park, a top-deck outdoor space with lawn games, live music, cabanas and the Sunset Park Café, while the Solarium, the Spa and the Sky Observation Lounge remain Solstice signatures.

For 2026 and 2027 Celebrity Solstice splits her year between Alaska from Vancouver and Seward and the South Pacific from Sydney and Auckland, linked by a 110-night Grand Voyage that departs Vancouver on September 13, 2026 and ends in Hong Kong on New Year’s Eve. Staterooms and suites

Inside

Inside staterooms run 183 to 200 sq ft with a sitting area and flat-screen TV, and every stateroom was updated in the 2026 renewal. A sensible choice for port-intensive Asia and Alaska itineraries where you are rarely in the room.

Ocean View

Ocean View staterooms are 176 sq ft with a large picture window and eXhale bedding. The renewal also added Panoramic Ocean View Suites (297 sq ft) and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View Suites (368 sq ft) with forward-facing views.

Veranda

Veranda staterooms are 192 sq ft with a 54 sq ft private balcony. Concierge Class adds a dedicated concierge, a welcome lunch and priority perks; the new Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suites (299 to 468 sq ft) bring Celebrity’s Edge-style infinite veranda to this ship.

AquaClass

AquaClass staterooms (192 sq ft plus veranda) were expanded in the renewal and now include massaging showerheads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats and a pillow menu, plus complimentary dining at Blu and access to the Persian Garden in the Spa.

Suites and The Retreat

Sky Suites and Aqua Sky Suites (300 sq ft), Celebrity Suites (394 sq ft), Royal Suites (590 sq ft), Horizon Suites (575 to 635 sq ft) and the Penthouse Suite (1,291 sq ft with a 389 sq ft veranda) all sail in The Retreat, with a dedicated butler, Luminae restaurant, the redesigned Retreat Lounge and the new Retreat Sundeck.

Families and who it suits

Camp at Sea runs complimentary sessions for ages 3 to 12 (Shipmates 3 to 5, Cadets 6 to 9, Captains 10 to 12) on port and sea days, with a paid late-night option. Teen programming for ages 13 to 17 is offered in other venues, as Celebrity notes Solstice no longer has a dedicated teen facility.

Is Celebrity Solstice good for families?
Yes, with a few notes. Camp at Sea runs daily for ages 3 to 12, Sunset Park and the pool deck give families open space, and the Oceanview Café keeps meals easy. There is no dedicated teen club after the renewal, though teen programming continues in other venues, and the Solarium is adults-only except for set hours on select itineraries.
