About Celebrity Xcel
Celebrity Xcel is the fifth and newest Edge Series ship, entering service in November 2025 from Fort Lauderdale. It shares the longer hull of Beyond and Ascent, 141,420 gross tons and 1,073 feet, with 3,260 guests at double occupancy, 1,640 staterooms and 32 restaurants, bars and lounges. What sets it apart is a run of new spaces: The Bazaar replaces Eden with an all-day destination market, Bora brings open-air Mediterranean dining to the Rooftop Garden, and the Celebrity Pool Club adds a shaded, cabana-lined pool scene.
Xcel is the ship for guests who want the newest Celebrity has to offer. The Spa is the largest in the fleet with more than 120 treatments, the new Hydra Room, a Vitamin D Deck and a nine-experience Sea Thermal Suite. The Attic at The Club is a 24-hour adult game lounge with retro arcade games, pool and darts. The Retreat, Infinite Verandas, the Magic Carpet and Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud carry over from the rest of the series, and Camp at Sea runs for ages 3 to 12.
For 2026 and 2027 Celebrity Xcel alternates between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Summer 2026 and summer 2027 are 7 to 11-night cruises from Barcelona and Athens to Santorini, Mykonos, Valletta, Kusadasi, the Italian and French Riviera and, new for Celebrity, overnights in Madeira. From November 2026 to April 2027 it sails 6 to 8-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises from PortMiami, its first season from Miami, to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, St. Thomas, Antigua, Bimini and the ABC islands.
