Heroes and villains from Fort Lauderdale: Pride Lands dining, Hercules on stage and a Wakanda Grand Hall.
Best for: Families with kids who love Marvel, The Lion King and the Disney villains, sailing four to seven nights from Fort Lauderdale on the newest Wish Class ship. Sails from Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral in 2026 and 2027.
Disney Destiny is the third Wish Class ship, delivered by Meyer Werft and sailing her maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on November 20, 2025. At about 144,000 gross tons with 1,246 staterooms, 15 decks and capacity for 4,000 guests, she is themed to heroes and villains: a heroic Minnie on the bow, Spider-Man on the stern as the first Marvel character to hold that spot, and a Grand Hall inspired by Wakanda from Black Panther with a statue of T’Challa.
Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, exclusive to this ship, joins Worlds of Marvel and 1923 in the dining rotation, with live musicians retelling Simba’s story in a savannah boma. The Walt Disney Theatre premieres Disney Hercules with the Muses as narrators alongside Frozen, A Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure. Lounges lean into the villains: De Vil’s piano bar for Cruella, the Cask & Cannon pirate pub, the Haunted Mansion Parlor and The Sanctum from Doctor Strange. The AquaMouse runs a new villain-filled short, and the Destiny Tower Suite in the funnel is themed to Iron Man.
Disney Destiny is the South Florida ship for 2026 and 2027, sailing from Fort Lauderdale on four- and five-night Bahamas cruises to Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay and Nassau, five-night Western Caribbean cruises to Cozumel and seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises. In November 2027 she moves to Port Canaveral for the first time for three- to seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises. She suits families who want the newest Disney ship on a mid-length cruise from a drive-to port.

Disney Destiny questions we answer every day
How big is Disney Destiny?
Disney Destiny is about 144,000 gross tons and 1,119 feet long with 15 decks, 1,246 staterooms and a crew of 1,555. Disney lists capacity at 4,000 guests, about 2,500 at double occupancy. She is the third of the Wish Class, a sister of Disney Wish and Disney Treasure with the same layout and her own heroes-and-villains theme.
Where does Disney Destiny sail in 2026 and 2027?
Through fall 2027 she sails from Fort Lauderdale on four- and five-night Bahamas cruises to Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay and Nassau, five-night Western Caribbean cruises to Cozumel and Castaway Cay, and select seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises. In November 2027 she moves to Port Canaveral, her first season there, for three- to seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises.
What is different about Disney Destiny?
The theme. Destiny pairs Disney heroes with their villains: a Wakanda Grand Hall, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King in the dining rotation, Disney Hercules on stage, Cruella’s De Vil’s piano bar, the Cask & Cannon pirate pub, The Sanctum from Doctor Strange and a villain-filled AquaMouse short. Spider-Man on the stern is the first Marvel hero in that spot on a Disney ship.
Which staterooms are best on Disney Destiny?
Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah sleep up to five and suit most families on a four- or five-night cruise. Couples do well in a standard Verandah midship. Concierge adds the Avengers-themed lounge, private sun deck and priority boarding, with four Royal Suites and the Iron Man-themed Destiny Tower Suite in the forward funnel.
Is there a casino on Disney Destiny?
No. Disney Cruise Line ships do not have casinos. Adults have De Vil’s, Cask & Cannon, the Haunted Mansion Parlor, The Sanctum, The Rose, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté, Hook’s Barbery and the Quiet Cove pool area with Cove Café, all reserved for guests 18 and over.
What is included in the fare on Disney Destiny?
Your fare covers your stateroom, the three rotational restaurants including the Lion King and Marvel dinner shows, Marceline Market, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, soft drinks at the beverage station, the stage shows, movies, the AquaMouse and pools, deck parties, character greetings and the kids’ and teen clubs. Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté, alcohol, specialty coffee, Edna à la Mode, the nursery, spa and shore excursions are extra.
