About MSC Armonia
MSC Armonia is one of the four Lirica Class ships, the smallest in the MSC fleet at 65,542 gross tons and 902 feet with 974 staterooms and 721 crew. It has sailed for MSC since 2004 and was the first ship through the line’s Renaissance Programme in 2014, when Fincantieri cut the hull and inserted a new 24-meter midsection that added close to 200 staterooms, the Doremi Spray Park, new kids and teen areas with Chicco and LEGO, more dining space and a larger MSC Aurea Spa.
The size is the point: Lirica Class ships reach ports the big ships cannot and often dock where others tender. On board you get classic MSC Mediterranean style, with two main restaurants, Marco Polo and La Pergola, the La Brasserie buffet, the Teatro La Fenice for production shows, the Palm Beach Casino, the White Lion Pub and the Starlight Disco. Balcony staterooms are limited, so most guests sail in interior or ocean view rooms.
In 2026 MSC Armonia sails seven-night Adriatic and Greek Islands cruises from Venice, Brindisi and Split through October, then leaves Marghera on November 1, 2026 on a 26-night Suez Canal voyage to Durban. Its first South African season runs from November 27, 2026 to late March 2027 with two- to twelve-night cruises from Durban and Cape Town to Mozambique, Namibia and Mauritius. A 26-night repositioning on April 1, 2027 brings it back to Venice for another Adriatic summer from Venice, Brindisi and Split.
