About MSC Magnifica
MSC Magnifica is the youngest of MSC’s four Musica Class ships and, at 95,128 gross tons with 2,550 guests at double occupancy, a mid-size ship built for longer voyages. Almost every outside cabin has a balcony, the indoor pool has a retractable roof for cool-weather cruising, and there are generous public rooms including a 1,200-seat theater, the Atlantic City Casino, 11 bars and lounges and an XD cinema.
A two-month refurbishment at Palumbo Malta Shipyard completed in December 2025 added the first MSC Yacht Club on a Musica Class ship: 63 suites across the five upper forward decks with the Top Sail Lounge, a private restaurant, pool and sun deck and 24-hour butler service. The refit also brought Butcher’s Cut steakhouse and the Kaito Sushi Bar, a renewed MSC Aurea Spa with a salt room, Kneipp path and vitality pool, and a new Technogym fitness center.
In 2026 the ship sailed Northern Europe from Warnemünde and then short Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona, Civitavecchia and Marseille. On January 4 to 7, 2027 it departs Civitavecchia, Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona on MSC’s 121-night World Cruise, the first to offer the Yacht Club, returning to Rome in May 2027 before a summer of Baltic and Norwegian fjords cruises from Copenhagen and Warnemünde. It suits couples and mature travelers who value balconies, sea days and a quieter mid-size ship.

Interior
Junior Interior staterooms of 140 sq ft on decks 11 and 12, the only interior category on this balcony-heavy ship, a good-value pick for guests who live on deck.
Ocean View
Deluxe Ocean View cabins of 172 sq ft on decks 5 to 12, plus 161 sq ft obstructed-view cabins on deck 8 behind the lifeboats.
Balcony
Junior Balconies are 151 sq ft, Deluxe Balconies 172 sq ft and Premium Balconies 194 sq ft, each with a 43 to 54 sq ft balcony on decks 8 to 14; Deluxe Balcony Aurea cabins on decks 10 and 11 add thermal spa access and the private Aurea solarium.
Suites (Aurea)
Junior Suites Aurea of 248 sq ft on decks 9 to 12 and Premium Suites Aurea of 269 sq ft with a 65 sq ft balcony on deck 15, both with priority boarding, spa access and flexible dining.
MSC Yacht Club
Five suite categories added in 2025: the 215 sq ft Interior Suite, 269 sq ft Deluxe Suite with 65 sq ft balcony, 301 sq ft Two-Room Grand Suite, 344 sq ft Executive and Family Suite with a 129 sq ft balcony, and the 538 sq ft Royal Suite with whirlpool bath and an 840 sq ft terrace. All include 24-hour butler and concierge, the Top Sail Lounge, private restaurant, pool and sun deck, premium drinks, Wi-Fi and thermal spa access.

MSC runs complimentary clubs from six months to 17 years: the Baby Club with Chicco for under-threes, the LEGO-equipped Mini Club (3 to 6) and Juniors Club (7 to 11), the Young Club (12 to 14) and the Teens Club (15 to 17), with a kids’ pool area and LEGO Family Game Show nights; on the World Cruise and long Baltic voyages the ship skews to adults and couples.
