MSC Seascape: ship guide
Galveston year-round with Robotron, an aft infinity pool and the Yacht Club.
Best for: Texas and Southwest families who want a newer, bigger ship with thrill rides and the Yacht Club option on a seven-night Western Caribbean loop from Galveston. Sails from Galveston in 2026 and 2027.

About MSC Seascape
MSC Seascape is the second Seaside EVO ship, delivered in December 2022 and christened in New York before moving to Miami. At 170,412 gross tons with 2,270 staterooms, it stretches the original Seaside design with more balcony cabins, a larger Yacht Club on decks 16 to 19 and new attractions led by Robotron, a robotic-arm ride that MSC calls the only robocoaster at sea, swinging three riders at a time 175 feet above the ocean to a soundtrack they choose.
The Waterfront Boardwalk, the glass-floored Bridge of Sighs and Infinity Bridge and the Aft Infinity Pool keep the Seaside focus on the sea. Nine dining experiences include Butcher’s Cut, the Ocean Cay seafood restaurant, Kaito Sushi Bar and Teppanyaki, Hola! Tacos & Cantina and the Aurea Restaurant, with 18 bars including the two-deck Le Cabaret Rouge, Sky Bar and Uptown Lounge. Forbes Vetted named it Best Cruise for Families Overall, a title MSC quotes on its own ship page.
Since late 2025 MSC Seascape has been homeported year-round at the Port of Galveston’s new Pier 16 terminal, MSC’s first Texas base. Through 2026 and 2027 it sails seven-night Western Caribbean cruises every Sunday to Costa Maya, Cozumel and Roatán. It suits Texas and Southwest families who want a big, newer ship with a European flavor and a drive-to home port.
