About MSC Seaside
MSC Seaside launched the Seaside Class in December 2017 and was christened in Miami, the first MSC ship named in the United States. At 153,516 gross tons with 2,026 staterooms, it was designed to connect guests with the sea: the Waterfront Boardwalk on deck 8 wraps the ship with bars and restaurants, panoramic glass elevators climb the outside of the hull, and the glass-floored Bridge of Sighs on deck 16 looks straight down at the wake.
Up top are four pools including the Jungle Pool under a retractable roof, an Aquapark with slides, the Adventure Trail ropes course and two ziplines that MSC calls the longest at sea. Dining runs to 11 venues, from the Ocean Cay seafood restaurant and Butcher’s Cut steakhouse to the three-part Asian Market Kitchen and Hola! Tacos & Cantina, plus 18 bars and the Metropolitan Theater. The MSC Yacht Club occupies the forward decks 16 to 18 with its own restaurant, Top Sail Lounge, pool deck and 24-hour butlers.
For 2026 and 2027 MSC Seaside is based year-round at PortMiami on 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises that call at Nassau and MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, with Freeport added on some 2027 dates and select late-night or overnight stays at Ocean Cay. Weekend and midweek departures make it the easy choice for a first cruise, a long weekend or a family getaway from South Florida.

Interior
151 to 301 square feet on decks 5 to 15 in Interior, Deluxe Interior and Premium Interior grades, with family layouts for up to five guests; the value choice for a 3- or 4-night getaway where you will spend your days on the Waterfront and at Ocean Cay.
Ocean View
About 183 square feet on deck 5 with a picture window, in Ocean View and Deluxe Ocean View grades; natural light without a balcony.
Balcony
172 to 183 square feet with balconies of 54 to 97 square feet on decks 9 to 15, in Balcony, Deluxe Balcony and the Aurea-experience Deluxe and Premium Balcony grades; some balconies have a metal front rather than glass, so ask us which to avoid.
Suites
Aurea suites of 183 to 527 square feet with balconies up to 409 square feet: Junior Suite, Premium Suite, Premium Suite with Terrace, Premium Suite with Whirlpool, Grand Suite and the Two-Bedroom Grand Suite, all booked under the Aurea Experience with spa access, the Aurea Solarium and the Aurea Bar.
MSC Yacht Club
The private ship-within-a-ship on decks 16 to 18 with Interior Suites, Deluxe Suites and Royal Suites of 226 to 667 square feet (balconies 86 to 355 square feet); includes 24-hour butler and concierge service, priority boarding, the Yacht Club Restaurant, Top Sail Lounge, a private pool deck, premium drinks, Wi-Fi, thermal-area access and the Ocean House beach at Ocean Cay.
