About Oceania Allura

Oceania Allura is the second Allura Class ship and the newest in the fleet, delivered by Fincantieri in Genoa on July 10, 2025 and sailing her first season from Trieste through the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and Canada and New England. She measures about 67,000 tons and carries 1,200 guests with a crew of 800 in 600 all-veranda staterooms and suites, with standard Veranda staterooms of about 291 square feet that Oceania calls the largest standard staterooms in its fleet.

Allura mirrors Vista’s dining lineup, with Ember, Aquamar Kitchen, Polo Grill, Toscana, Red Ginger and the Grand Dining Room all included, and adds a Crêperie serving French crêpes and Belgian waffles, a Gelateria and a Chef’s Studio for interactive cooking experiences. The Founders Bar, The Bakery at Baristas, the LYNC Digital Center, Concierge Level Solo Veranda staterooms and the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center all carry over, and the dress code stays country-club casual.

For 2026 Allura is one of three ships in Oceania’s Mediterranean program, with calls such as Barcelona, Rome and Santorini, then moves to Miami for Caribbean, Panama Canal and Mexico sailings, including a 10-day Eastern Caribbean on December 2 and a 7-day Western Caribbean holiday cruise on December 21, 2026. From November 2027 to March 2028 she sails Oceania’s first winter Mediterranean season, with in-port overnights and European holiday markets.

Oceania Allura questions we answer every day

How big is Oceania Allura?
Allura is about 67,000 gross tons with 600 staterooms and suites, carrying 1,200 guests at double occupancy with a crew of 800, a ratio Oceania describes as two staff for every three guests. Delivered by Fincantieri in Genoa on July 10, 2025, she is the second Allura Class ship after Vista and the eighth ship in the Oceania fleet.
Where does Allura sail in 2026 and 2027?
In 2026 she sails the Mediterranean, with ports such as Barcelona, Rome and Santorini, then repositions to Miami for Caribbean, Panama Canal and Mexico cruises from late 2026, including a 10-day Eastern Caribbean on December 2 and a 7-day Western Caribbean holiday sailing on December 21. From November 2027 through March 2028 she sails Oceania’s first winter Mediterranean season.
What is new on Allura compared with Vista?
The core design and restaurants are the same, so Ember, Aquamar Kitchen, Polo Grill, Toscana and Red Ginger are all on board. Allura adds a Crêperie, a Gelateria and the Chef’s Studio for interactive culinary experiences, has slightly larger standard staterooms at about 291 square feet, and runs on marine gas oil with heavy fuel oil removed from the platform.
Which staterooms are the best choice?
The Veranda stateroom at about 291 square feet is the mainstay, and Concierge Level adds the Concierge Lounge, laundry, in-room dining and Spa Terrace access. French Veranda rooms cost less but have no sit-out balcony. Penthouse Suites at about 440 square feet add a butler and a tub, and the Oceania, Vista and Owner’s Suites give separate living and dining rooms.
What is included in the fare on Allura?
The Grand Dining Room, Ember, Polo Grill, Toscana, Red Ginger, Terrace Café, Waves Grill, Aquamar Kitchen, the Crêperie, Gelateria and Baristas are included with no surcharge, along with afternoon tea, room service, soft drinks, bottled water, specialty coffees and teas, shows and lectures. Privée, Chef’s Studio classes, spa treatments, alcohol packages and shore excursions are extra. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Oceania allows it, not available when you book direct.
What is a winter Mediterranean season?
From November 2027 to March 2028 Allura stays in the Mediterranean instead of crossing to the Caribbean, which Oceania describes as its first winter season there. Itineraries feature in-port overnights and calls timed for European holiday markets in December, with cooler weather, smaller crowds and lower hotel demand in cities such as Barcelona, Rome and Athens.
