About Seabourn Pursuit
Seabourn Pursuit entered service on August 12, 2023, as the line’s second purpose-built luxury expedition ship and the twin of Seabourn Venture. Built in Italy to PC6 Polar Class standards, she is about 23,000 gross tons and 557 feet long, with 132 oceanfront veranda suites in 12 categories for 264 guests, a crew of about 120 and a 19-member expedition team. Her godparents are the Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owners of Australia’s Kimberley coast, where she spends each southern winter.
Pursuit pairs Seabourn’s all-inclusive comforts, from open-seating dining and premium drinks to a personal suite host and Swarovski binoculars in every suite, with real expedition hardware: 24 Zodiacs, eight double kayaks, two loading platforms, a Landing Zone on Deck 3, the Expedition Lounge and Discovery Center, the forward Bow Lounge and a Constellation Lounge whose mast camera streams wildlife sightings to the suites. Glass-walled saunas and an infinity pool aft look straight out at the scenery.
Her year follows the seasons. In 2026 she sails the South Pacific in April and May, 10-day Kimberley voyages between Darwin and Broome from May to September, an 82-day Across Three Continents voyage from Broome to Ushuaia from September 2, and then the shared Antarctica, South Georgia and Falklands season from Ushuaia between November 2026 and March 2027. In 2027 she returns to the South Pacific from April to September, with four Kimberley departures from May to August and Antarctica again from October 2027.
