About Seven Seas Grandeur

Seven Seas Grandeur is the third and newest ship in Regent’s Explorer Class, delivered by Fincantieri in Ancona in November 2023 and christened in Miami that December. At 55,500 gross tons and 735 feet, she carries 746 guests in 373 suites, every one with a furnished private balcony, looked after by 548 crew. Layouts run from the 307-square-foot Veranda Suite to the Regent Suite, and the ship holds a multimillion-dollar art collection anchored by Journey in Jewels, a permanent Fabergé exhibit at sea.

Everything that makes Regent all-inclusive is built into the fare: unlimited shore excursions in every port, all eight dining venues including the Prime 7 steakhouse, French Chartreuse and Pan-Asian Pacific Rim, unlimited beverages with fine wines and premium spirits, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry. Guests in Concierge Suites and above add a pre-cruise hotel night. Evenings center on the two-deck Constellation Theater, the Grandeur Lounge and the Observation Lounge.

In 2026 and 2027 Seven Seas Grandeur splits her time between the Americas and Europe. After a fall 2026 Mediterranean season she crosses to Miami for Caribbean and Central America voyages, a Panama Canal transit to Los Angeles, Mexican Riviera sailings and a Panama City to Amazon journey, then returns across the Atlantic in April 2027 for Iberia and Mediterranean itineraries from Lisbon, Barcelona, Rome and Venice. She suits couples who want a brand-new ship with a high crew-to-guest ratio and nothing left to pay for on board.

  • 373 suites, all with furnished private balconies, from 307 to 5,089 square feet including balcony
  • Regent Suite with a glass-enclosed, skylit parlor and private in-suite spa, overlooking the bow
  • 16 Grandeur Suites with living room, bedroom and balconies Regent calls among the largest at sea
  • Journey in Jewels, a permanent Fabergé exhibit and the centerpiece of the ship’s art collection
  • Eight dining venues included in the fare: Compass Rose, Prime 7, Chartreuse, Pacific Rim, Sette Mari and more
  • Unlimited shore excursions in every port, plus drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities and laundry all included
  • Two-deck Constellation Theater with nightly productions by Regent’s own cast
  • Serene Spa & Wellness, a Culinary Arts Kitchen and a crew-to-guest ratio of about 1 to 1.4

Seven Seas Grandeur questions we answer every day

How big is Seven Seas Grandeur?
Seven Seas Grandeur measures 55,500 gross tons and 735 feet long, with 10 decks and 373 suites for 746 guests at double occupancy. A crew of 548 gives roughly one crew member for every 1.4 guests. She is the third Explorer Class ship after Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor, and the newest ship in the Regent fleet until Seven Seas Prestige arrives in December 2026.
What is included in a Regent fare on Seven Seas Grandeur?
Unlimited shore excursions in every port, all eight restaurants including Prime 7, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim, unlimited beverages including fine wines and premium spirits, open bars and lounges, in-suite minibar replenishment, Wi-Fi, gratuities and valet laundry. Concierge Suites and above add a one-night pre-cruise hotel package. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Regent allows it, not available booking direct.
Which suite should I choose on Seven Seas Grandeur?
Every suite has a private balcony, so the Veranda and Deluxe Veranda Suites are a comfortable base at 307 square feet and up. Concierge Suites add a pre-cruise hotel night and priority reservations, Penthouse Suites bring a butler, and the Grandeur Suites are the signature category with very large balconies. The one-of-a-kind Regent Suite has its own in-suite spa.
Where does Seven Seas Grandeur sail in 2026 and 2027?
After a Mediterranean fall in 2026 she crosses to Miami for Caribbean, Central America and Panama Canal voyages through the winter, including Mexican Riviera sailings from Los Angeles and a Panama City to Amazon journey in March 2027. In April 2027 she sails Miami to Lisbon and spends the summer in Iberia and the Mediterranean from Lisbon, Barcelona, Rome and Venice.
Is Seven Seas Grandeur good for families?
Regent is designed for adults. There is no kids club or water play area on Seven Seas Grandeur, although a seasonal Club Mariner youth program operates on select summer and holiday sailings. Multigenerational families who want a quiet, all-inclusive ship with excursions included often travel together in adjoining suites, but teens expecting waterslides and arcades should look elsewhere.
What is the Journey in Jewels exhibit?
Journey in Jewels is a permanent Fabergé exhibit created through Regent’s partnership with the House of Fabergé, the first of its kind at sea and the centerpiece of the multimillion-dollar art collection aboard Seven Seas Grandeur. Sarah Fabergé is the ship’s godmother, and the collection is displayed throughout public areas for guests to explore between ports.
