About Silver Spirit
Silver Spirit entered service in 2009, was cut in half and lengthened with a 48 foot midsection in 2018, and returned from a spring 2026 drydock at Fincantieri’s Palermo yard as what Silversea calls a reimagined ship. At 39,519 gross tons it carries 636 guests with a crew of 415, close to one crew member per guest. Every suite is butler-served and almost all have a veranda, and the refit refreshed the suites throughout while adding the 538 sq ft Medallion Suite category.
The 2026 renovation brought the S.A.L.T. program on board for the first time, with a S.A.L.T. Kitchen, S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab, plus Riviera, a new open-air poolside restaurant inspired by the golden age of Mediterranean travel, and Seishin, a Japanese restaurant exclusive to this ship. Atlantide, La Terrazza, La Dame, Spaccanapoli, the Silver Note supper club and the Arts Café complete nine dining options. The Venetian Lounge gained a new LED wall, the pool deck a golf putting green and hitting bay, and the Zagara spa a thermal suite.
Through 2026 and 2027 Silver Spirit sails Europe and the Caribbean. A 50 day Grand Voyage from Lisbon to Athens runs through fall 2026, then the ship crosses to Bridgetown for Caribbean round trips of 7 to 13 nights from Bridgetown and Miami through March 2027. Spring and summer 2027 bring Northern Europe and British Isles sailings from Copenhagen, Stockholm and Southampton, followed by Venice and Rome in the fall and the Caribbean again from December. It suits guests who want a classic mid-size Silversea ship with the newest venues.
