S.S. Antoinette: ship guide
Uniworld’s first Super Ship, with a Baccarat chandelier and pool on the Rhine.
Best for: Couples and small groups who want Uniworld’s most opulent Rhine ship, with the enclosed conservatory balconies, a pool and cinema, on a classic Basel to Amsterdam castle route. Sails from Basel, Amsterdam, Arnhem, Cologne in 2026 and 2027.

About S.S. Antoinette
S.S. Antoinette was Uniworld’s first Super Ship when she debuted on the Rhine in 2011, and she set the template the rest of the fleet followed: a 443-foot vessel carrying 152 guests with a staff of 56, fine Brazilian marble on the walls and floors, a 19th-century Venetian glass mirror and a two-story foyer hung with a 10-foot blue Strauss Baccarat chandelier that once lit New York’s Tavern on the Green. An onboard cinema, a heated indoor pool and the Bar du Leopard round out the public rooms.
The ship is built for travelers who want hotel-style luxury on the river. Staterooms and suites on La Princesse Deck have balconies with floor-to-ceiling windows that rise at the touch of a button to form an enclosed conservatory, and every room gets a handcrafted Savoir bed, marble bathroom and Asprey amenities. Suites add butler service, laundry and in-room breakfast. Dining is in the Restaurant de Versailles, with the Salon du Grand Trianon and L’Orangerie Sky Lounge for cocktails and the view.
S.S. Antoinette sails the Rhine between Switzerland and the Netherlands. Her 2026-2027 program includes Castles Along the Rhine (Basel to Arnhem, 8 days), Castles Along the Rhine & Amsterdam (Basel to Amsterdam, 10 days), Remarkable Rhine & Historic Holland (Amsterdam to Basel, 11 days) and Rhine Holiday Markets (Basel to Cologne) in December. Uniworld also runs its family-focused Generations departures on this ship in July. SmartCruiser adds bonus onboard credit on sailings where Uniworld allows it, not available booking direct.
